NICKELODEON TO AIR SERIES OF DANGER FORCE "MINISODES," KICKING OFF SATURDAY, AUG. 8, AT 8 P.M. (ET/PT) WITH GUEST STAR FRANKIE GRANDE
Nickelodeon's hit show Danger Force returns with an all-new series of remotely produced "minisodes" (five episodes). Picking up directly following the events of the "Quaran-kini" special that aired in May, the nearby Bhutt Factory's natural gas leak still looms dangerously over Swellview. Featuring familiar characters in each episode, Frankie Grande returns in the premiere to guest star as the fan-favorite villain, Frankini. The Danger Force "minisodes" kick off Saturday, Aug. 8, at 8 p.m. (ET/PT) on Nickelodeon, with new episodes airing weekly. Fans eager to watch will be able to stream episodes early on the Nick app every Thursday beginning Aug. 6.
In the series of Danger Force "minisodes," the city of Swellview has remained quarantined, causing the local news station, KLVY, to run out of programming and they decide to give reporter Mary Gaperman her own show: "Gabbin' with Gaperman." Hoping to keep viewers entertained, Mary invites the Danger Force, Captain Man and some of Swellview's most notorious supervillains to be the show's on-air guests, resulting in the most unpredictable of predictable super-reunions.
