BLACK-ISH (ABC) - Kenya Barris took to social media with the news that "Please, Baby, Please," the show's shelved episode from 2018, is now available via Hulu. At the time, said episode was detailed as follows: "Dre is on baby duty for the night during a storm, and the household is wide awake. He decides to read a crying Devante a bedtime story, but when that doesn't do the trick, Dre tosses it aside and begins to tell a story of his own about the current state of the country in a way Devante will understand, on a special episode." CSI: CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATION (CBS) - William Petersen and Jorja Fox are in negotiations to star in the proposed sequel series, now titled "CSI: Vegas," which would feature Petersen's Gil Grissom and Fox's Sara Sidle alongside four new characters. Its logline is as follows: "With CSI: Vegas, the most watched drama series of the 21st century, CSI, opens a brand new chapter in Las Vegas, the city where it all began. Facing an existential threat that could bring down the Crime Lab, a brilliant team of forensic investigators must welcome back old friends and deploy new techniques to preserve and serve justice in Sin City." Petersen and his long-time producing partner Cynthia Chvatal are also expected to serve as executive producers alongside Jason Tracey, Jerry Bruckheimer, Jonathan Littman, KristieAnne Reed and Anthony E. Zuiker for CBS Television Studios. (Deadline.com)
LAST BUS, THE (Netflix, New!) - Writer Paul Neafcy and director Drew Casson have set up a 10-part family sci-fi adventure at the streaming service about "machine intelligence and how humans can save the planet by working together." Wildseed Studios' Miles Bullough and Jesse Cleverly will presumably executive produce alongside the duo. Lawrence Gough, Steve Hughes and Nour Wazzi are also on board to direct. (TheGuardian.com)
PATRICK STAR SHOW, THE (Nickelodeon, New!) - The cable channel is on track to commission 13 episodes of a second "SpongeBob Squarepants" spin-off series, this time centered on SpongeBob's best friend Patrick Star, voiced by Bill Fagerbakke. The project is reportedly "in the vein of 'The Larry Sanders Show' and 'Comedy Bang Bang!,' with Patrick (Fagerbakke) hosting his own late-night talk show." No other specific auspices were mentioned. The news comes on the heels of fellow entry "Kamp Koral: SpongeBob's Under Years" moving to CBS All Access. (Deadline.com)
UNTITLED CASSIAN ANDOR SERIES (Disney+) - Adria Arjona is the latest to board the Diego Luna-led "Star Wars" series in a yet-to-be-revealed role. (Deadline.com)
