Said effort required shifting the remaining days of production from Asia to Europe "with the support of independent health and safety consultants, in accordance with all safety guidelines." (Variety.com)
SHINING VALE (Starz) - Gus Birney and Dylan Gage are set to star opposite Courteney Cox and Greg Kinnear in the comedy pilot. Birney will play Gaynor Phelps, "Pat (Cox) and Terry (Kinnear)'s 16-year-old daughter who is going through that awful phase where she's smarter than everyone and angry at the world - and by the world we mean her mother, whom she (rightfully) blames for uprooting the family from Brooklyn to suburban Connecticut." Gage then is Jake Phelps, "the Phelps' pubescent son who is always glued to some sort of screen." (Deadline.com)
X-FILES, THE: ALBUQUERQUE (FOX, New!) - Rocky Russo and Jeremy Sosenko are spearheading an animated spin-off of Chris Carter's much-ballyhooed series. Said effort, which has received a script and presentation commitment, "will center an office full of misfit agents who investigate X-Files cases too wacky, ridiculous or downright dopey for Mulder and Scully to bother with." Carter and Gabe Rotter will executive produce alongside the duo for Bento Box Entertainment. (TVLine.com)
