BATWOMAN/DEBRIS/LOST IN SPACE/MAID, THE/MIDNIGHT MASS/MIGHTY DUCKS, THE/MOTHERLAND: FORT SALEM/MYSTERIOUS BENEDICT SOCIETY, THE/RESIDENT ALIEN/RIVERDALE/TURNER & HOOCH/ZOEY'S EXTRAORDINARY PLAYLIST (Various) - The aforementioned are among the latest Vancouver-based series that have or are expecting to resume production. BAY, THE (CBS, New!) - Writer Yalun Tu and director Larry Teng are set to team for a new drama at the Eye about "two newly partnered Chinese-American detectives who strive to overcome their gender, generational and cultural differences as they work to bring justice to their dynamic and ever-changing San Francisco community." CBS Television Studios is behind the project, with Teng and Tu co-writing the story. (Deadline.com)
GG (The CW, New!) - Daisy Gardner has sold a potential drama to the netlet which "centers on the adventures of a rebellious, young female excelling in the male-dominated gaming industry." Debbie Liebling and OptIn's J Moses and Kim Moses also serve as executive producers on the project, which is set up at CBS Television Studios. (Deadline.com)
PARTNERS IN RHYME (UMC) - Precious Way will star opposite MC Lyte in the upcoming sitcom, about "the trials of an up-and-coming female high school rapper and social media sensation who thinks she is the best thing to happen to the rap game since Cardi B." Way's involvement is the result of the network's recent "Shoot Your Shot" casting call. (Deadline.com)
PRETTY LITTLE LIARS (Freeform) - Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa is spearheading a new incarnation of the franchise for Warner Bros. Television. Sibling HBO Max is reportedly the target destination however no network is currently attached. (THR.com)
PRINCE HARRY, DUKE OF SUSSEX/MEGHAN, DUCHESS OF SUSSEX PROJECTS (Netflix, New!) - The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have founded a yet-to-be-named production company, signing a multiyear deal with Netflix to develop "documentaries, docu-series, feature films, scripted shows and children's programming." UNTITLED ALEX BERGER PROJECT (NBC, New!) - Alex Berger has booked a potential drama at the network in which "when a dogged young reporter witnesses the murder of her sister, she launches an investigation to find the people responsible, enlisting the help of her estranged father - a legendary but reclusive investigative journalist." Martin Gero is also on board to executive produce via his Universal Television-based Quinn's House banner. (Deadline.com)
