New York, NY (November 19, 2020) - Jim Gaffigan is in top form for his comedy special, Quality Time. The 4-time Grammy nominated comedian doesn't understand why we aren't more honest about the reasons we don't want to attend events, while at the same time embraces lying to kids. From horses and dog birthdays to traveling and museums, Gaffigan continues to impress with his relatable takes on everyday life. The Network Television Premiere of Jim Gaffigan: Quality Time, a one hour stand-up special, will air Friday, December 4 at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT with an encore at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT on Comedy Central.
"I'm thrilled to have another special on Comedy Central," said Gaffigan. "I'll never forget how much Beyond The Pale appearing on Comedy Central changed my career."
Jim Gaffigan: Quality Time was filmed at the State Theatre in Minneapolis, MN in 2019. It was executive produced by Brian Volk-Weiss & Cisco Henson of Comedy Dynamics with Alex Murray of Brillstein Entertainment Partners.
Gaffigan has a total of eight stand-up specials which include Beyond the Pale, King Baby, Mr. Universe, Obsessed, Cinco, Noble Ape, The Pale Tourist and Quality Time. He is one of only ten comedians in history to sell out the famed Madison Square Garden arena and he opened for Pope Francis in front of one million+ people in Philadelphia, during the Pope's visit to the US in 2016. He was recently named one of the world's highest grossing comedians by Forbes, and was recognized as the first comedian to reach 1 billion streams worldwide on Pandora.
