But his style is decidedly not gentle - which likely will be a shock to Sophie, Danny, Theo or whatever kid winds up on the other side of his music stand." (TVLine.com)
NEIGHBORHOOD, THE (CBS) - Michael Gladis, real-life husband to co-star Beth Behrs, will drop by the series as "Calvin's "personable and dryly funny" physician, Dr. Fisher. But when her childhood best friend reveals surprising news, Samantha realizes she can no longer qualify as a party girl - she's a walking disaster." Writer Simone Finch and director Leslye Headland are behind the 20th Television-based project with Jenni Konner and Phil Traill also executive producing. WILD YEAR ON EARTH, A (BBC America, New!) - Northern Pictures has sold a six-part wildlife documentary series to the cable channel which "follows seasonal events of the natural world including migration, rebirth and transformation. Filmed in 4K, it was shot including migration, rebirth and transformation and features the likes of black kites hunting in the flames of wildfire. Over the course of a turbulent year, the series reveals how the natural world and all of its creatures are connected to the Earth's seasonal patterns, which, in the 21st Century, are becoming more extreme and dangerously unpredictable." Laura Carmichael serves as narrator with Karina Holden executive producing and Daniella Ortega producing. (Deadline.com)
WOMEN OF THE MOVEMENT (ABC) - Emmy winner Glynn Turman has joined the cast of the limited series as Mose Wright, "Emmett Till's great uncle.
