Gerard McMurray Returns To Netflix With "The Formula" With Robert De Niro And John Boyega Attached To Star

Writer and Director: Gerard McMurray (The First Purge and the Netflix film Burning Sands) returns to Netflix with his original movie idea, The Formula.

McMurray will write, direct, and produce the film via his recently formed production company, Buppie Productions.

Cast: Robert De Niro, John Boyega

Boyega most recently starred in Steve McQueen's critically acclaimed anthology series Small Axe. His previous film credits include the Star Wars sequel trilogy and Detroit.

Producers: Jane Rosenthal, Robert De Niro, Berry Welsh, and McMurray

The project came together under Jane Rosenthal and Berry Welsh's overall deal with Netflix.

Co-Producer: Sam Shaw and Buppie Productions' Ephraim Walker
