New York, NY - August 25, 2021- Today, Comedy Central announced Ilana Glazer Presents Comedy on Earth an original, one-hour special featuring a series of sets performed by various comedians, curated by director-producer-writer-comedian Ilana Glazer (False Positive, Broad City). The comedy showcase captures New York City "in the darkest of times" from 2020-2021 through the lens of stand-up comics including Petey DeAbreu, Alison Leiby, Larry Owens, and Sydnee Washington. The special also features Kristen Buckels, George Civeris, Alex English, Marie Faustin, Josh Gondelman, Parker Kit Hill, Lacey Jeka, Kenice Mobley, Julia Shiplett, and Jes Tom

The comedians open up about their lives during the COVID-19 pandemic, doing virtual stand-up shows, and more. Ilana Glazer Presents Comedy on Earth debuts on Friday, September 10 at 11:00 PM ET/PT.

In April of this year, Comedy Central launched a digital stand-up series Ilana Glazer Presents Tight Five on Comedy Central's Stand-up YouTube Channel. The nine-episode series also featured stand-up sets curated by Ilana Glazer. Some comedians spotlighted on Ilana Glazer Presents Tight Five will reappear in the upcoming one-hour special Ilana Glazer Presents Comedy on Earth.

Ilana Glazer Presents Comedy on Earth is produced by Glazer's production company, Starrpix. Ilana Glazer, Kelsie Kiley, Karl Frankenfield, and Alison Leiby serve as Executive Producers, alongside Producers Elena Ridker, Ryan Cunningham, Petey DeAbreu, and Director Kristian Mercado. Candida Boyette-Clemons and Ryan Moran are the Executive Producers for MTV Entertainment Studios.
