Todo Dia a Mesma Noite: Netflix announces the cast of the fictional inspired by the true story of the fire on Kiss Nightclub

São Paulo, March 10 2022 - Netflix's new drama series, Todo Dia a Mesma Noite, inspired by the true story of the fire at the Kiss nightclub that took the lives of 242 young people in Santa Maria, Rio Grande do Sul, in 2013, began filming under the general direction of Julia Rezende, direction by Carol Minêm and with a script by Gustavo Lipsztein. The cast includes Thelmo Fernandes, Paulo Gorgulho, Bianca Byington, Leonardo Medeiros, Debora Lamm, Raquel Karro, Bel Kowarick, Erom Cordeiro, Paola Antonini, Nicolas Vargas, Flavio Bauraqui and Laila Zaid, among others.

"It's a huge responsibility to tell a fictional story inspired by a real event that destroyed the lives of so many people and shocked the country. We want to shed light, in the most sensitive and honorable way possible, on the perspective of those who lived through it all up close, and are still living," says general director Julia Rezende.

"We can never forget what happened. This project is an important step in building the country's collective memory," says creative consultant Daniela Arbex, an award-winning journalist and writer whose book Todo Dia a Mesma Noite: The Untold Story of the Kiss Nightclub, inspired the production.

With 5 episodes, the limited series produced by Morena Filmes for Netflix is scheduled to premiere in 2023.
