DROPPING TRUTH BOMBS FROM NEW HEIGHTS.

ACCLAIMED SKETCH COMEDY SERIES "TALLBOYZ" PREMIERES ON FUSE TV ON MARCH 23

Executive Produced and Directed by Bruce McCulloch (Saturday Night Live, The Kids in the Hall), TALLBOYZ tackles uncomfortable truths through relatable and absurd sketches

Seasons two and three will debut this Summer and Fall on Fuse

Los Angeles, March 11 - Fuse expands its library of fresh, diverse content with the U.S. premiere of the critically lauded sketch comedy series TALLBOYZ. Created by and starring Guled Abdi, Vance Banzo, Tim Blair and Franco Nguyen, TALLBOYZ takes on a slew of pressing topics including cultural appropriation, office politics, toxic masculinity, racism, ancient demons... and almost meeting Drake. Produced by Accent Entertainment, season one of TALLBOYZ premieres Wednesday, March 23 at 10:00pm. EST on Fuse.

In the absurdist world of TALLBOYZ, a group of young, diverse comedians alternate between playing heightened versions of themselves and sliding into cartoonish sketches about friendship, politics, bro culture and everyday life. Over the course of the show, the Boyz face everything from grammar-induced rap beefs, big life revelations, a mission to Mars gone wrong, a secret that could derail a boy band and more, all infused with a hilarious and upbeat demeanor.

TALLBOYZ received four 2022 Canadian Screen Award nominations including one for Best Sketch Comedy Program or Series. The boys' credits collectively include Outstanding Comedy Short at the 2018 Toronto Sketch Comedy Festival, appearances in JFL42, Comedy Brawl, CBC Radio, NOW Magazine, and The Colin Mochrie Improvisation Award. TALLBOYZ have also received two Canadian Screen Award nominations for Best Sketch Comedy Show & Ensemble Performance and Best Writing, Variety or Sketch Comedy in 2020.

"Their modern, thought-provoking approach to sketch comedy aligns perfectly with Fuse's mission to showcase empowering content, and no one does it in a funnier way than the TALLBOYZ."

Produced by Accent Entertainment, TALLBOYZ is created by Guled Abdi, Vance Banzo, Tim Blair, and Franco Nguyen. Bruce McCulloch is Executive Producer, Showrunner and Director, and Susan Cavan is Executive Producer along with the four TALLBOYZ. Paula Smith is Supervising Producer, and Thea Gagliardi is Producer. Ashley Comeau is Consulting Producer.
