BLOCKBUSTER (Netflix) - Hieu Ho, Michael Golamco and Randall Park's Imminent Collision banner has signed a first-look deal with Universal Television. The studio is behind the group's upcoming Netflix series. (THR.com)
DOLLFACE (Hulu) - The streamer has passed on ordering a third season of the Kat Dennings-led comedy series. (TVLine.com)
KINDRED (FX) - Sheria Irving and Sophina Brown have both been cast in the limited series adaptation of Octavia E. Butler's acclaimed 1979 sci-fi novel. Irving will portray Olivia, "a fearless, sharp-minded and resourceful young woman who has suffered a possible mental episode and doesn't trust herself or reality. A wild child who is ready to fight, she is willing to take drastic measures to get what she wants." Brown's character however was not detailed. (Deadline.com)
MANHUNT (Apple TV+) - Hamish Linklater and Lili Taylor have been cast as Abraham and Mary Lincoln in the upcoming limited series about the Lincoln assassination. Additionally, Brandon Flynn has been tapped as Eddie Stanton Jr., "a war department clerk and son of Edwin Stanton (Tobias Menzies)"; Betty Gabriel as Elizabeth "Lizzie" Keckley, "a famous fashion designer and friend of Mary Lincoln"; Will Harrison as David Herold, "John Wilkes Booth's (Anthony Boyle) accomplice"; Damian O'Hare as Thomas Eckert, "Stanton's right hand man and a telegraph expert"; and Patton Oswalt as Lafayette Baker, "a war department investigator." NEW LOOK, THE (Apple TV+) - Maisie Williams has signed onto the Ben Mendelsohn/Juliette Binoche-led period drama as Catherine Dior, "Christian's younger sister and Medal of Honor winner for Courage in the cause of Freedom." (THR.com)
PALOMINO (Netflix) - Sean Teale will star opposite Evin Ahmad in the Spain-set series as "Erin's Spanish husband Jordi who works as a nurse at the local hospital. As the series progresses, Jordi starts to question his past, as well as his marriage." (Deadline.com)
TULSA KING (Paramount+) - Martin Starr is the latest to be cast in the Sylvester Stallone-led drama as Bodhi, "a blissed-out proprietor of the Higher Plane Marijuana Dispensary." (Deadline.com)
WILL TRENT (ABC) - Sonja Sohn will star opposite Ramón Rodríguez in the drama pilot as Amanda, "the head of the Georgia Bureau of Investigation. Will's (Rodriguez) boss, she's coldly competent and always camera ready for a press conference. Climbing the ranks at the GBI has made Amanda a real ball-buster, but she has a mysterious soft spot for Will." (Deadline.com)
