CONSTELLATION (Apple TV+) - James D'Arcy will star alongside Noomi Rapace and Jonathan Banks in the eight-episode psychological thriller as Henry, "a Nobel Prize-winning physicist. The answers to his secret discovery are protected by Jo on the ISS - until she returns." Oliver Hirschbiegel and Joseph Cedar have likewise signed on as directors alongside Michelle MacLaren. (Deadline.com)
FOUND (NBC) - Kelli Williams is the latest addition to the drama pilot as Margaret Reed: "A keen observer of human behavior, Margaret is a crisis manager at Mosley and Associates, and the mother figure to her whole team of associates. Her son was kidnapped at age 5 and never found." (Variety.com)
HILLS, THE: NEXT GEN (MTV, New!) - The cable channel has commissioned a new incarnation of the reality staple, which "will feature a brand new cast which is expected to be more diverse than the original. The series will follow close group of 20-something friends and aspiring entrepreneurs who are coming of age in a very different L.A. They will navigate realities of race, class, identity, addiction, family drama along with the thrills of romance and becoming self-made amidst the exclusive enclave of the hills in Malibu." MTV Entertainment Studios is producing. (Deadline.com)
JOJO GOES (Facebook Watch, New!) - JoJo Siwa will topline a documentary series for the streaming platform in which she "will be joined by her celebrity friends to partake in some crazy fun adventures she's always wanted to experience but never got the chance." B17 Entertainment is behind the project, due this summer, with JoJo Siwa, Jessalynn Siwa, Caryn Sterling, Rhett Bachner, Brien Meagher, Aliyah Silverstein, and Melissa Bidwell executive producing. MORPHLE (Disney+, New!) - Disney Branded Television has ordered 52 episodes of a 7-minute CG series based on Arthur van Merwijk's YouTube short-form hit "My Magic Pet Morphle." Moonbug Entertainment is behind the project, which "follows Mila and her stepbrother, Jordie, as they leap into a world of adventure with the help of Morphle - Mila's magical and loyal pet who has the power to change into whatever she needs. The trio use their skills and smarts to keep magic pets out of mischief, solve problems and find "magic matches” for each of the hilarious and unique newcomers." Mark Palmer and consulting producer Jill Sanford are behind the new incarnation, which is slated to debut in 2024. (Variety.com)
REACHER (Amazon) - Maria Sten will reprise her role of Frances Neagley for the show's second season, which will be based on Lee Child's "Bad Luck and Trouble." (Deadline.com)
