Nominees announced for social category "Best Musical Moment;"

Details revealed for MTV's multi-platform Creator Livestream

Epic, one-night global event airs LIVE from Los Angeles on Sunday, June 5th at 8PM ET/PT

· MTV today announced that entertainment icon and legendary DJ, Snoop Dogg aka DJ SNOOPADELIC, will return to the stage for the 2022 MTV Movie & TV Awards, LIVE from Barker Hangar on Sunday, June 5th at 8PM ET/PT.

· MTV also unveiled the return of the social category "Best Musical Moment" (presented by SONIC(R) Drive-In) and the 16 nominees competing in the category. Voting to officially open via MTV's Instagram Stories on May 30th and closing June 3rd; the winner will be revealed live in show.

· MTV Digital additionally revealed its first multi-platform "Who Did It Butter?" Creator Livestream on Friday, June 3rd at 4PM ET, which will air simultaneously across MTV's Facebook,Twitter, Instagram, TikTok and YouTube. Additional details below.
