BUFFALO TENS (FOX, New!) - Riki Lindhome and Natasha Leggero have sold a potential single-camera comedy to the network: "In Buffalo Tens, when two brash 40-something matchmakers (Lindhome, Leggero) in Buffalo, NY, are unexpectedly dumped by their husbands, they're forced to put their ‘tried and true' dating regimen - The Buffalo Tens Commandments - to the test for themselves. While out in the dating scene for the first time in 20 years, they'll realize the antiquated methods they've recommended to clients won't actually help at all, and they may have to question everything they know about dating, relationships and love. But it's going to be a long journey for these two characters who avoid introspection like the plague." Debblie Liebling and James Lassiter will also executive produce for FOX Entertainment. FIFTEEN-LOVE (Amazon) - Aidan Turner and Ella Lily Hylan will topline the upcoming drama, billed as an enthralling exploration of the dangerous lines where personal and professional relationships collide, set amid the glamorous cut-and-thrust world of elite tennis. They'll play said coach Glenn Lapthorn and young sports prodigy Justine Pearce, respectively. Anna Chancellor, Jessica Darrow, Tom Varey, Lorenzo Richelmy, Manon Azem, Elizabeth Berrington, Amar Chadha-Patel, Steffan Rhodri, Maria Margarida Almeida and Harmony Rose-Bremner also star. FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS/PARENTHOOD (NBC) - Jason Katims and his True Jack Productions banner have closed a multi-project deal with Imagine Television. The pair previously teamed for the aforementioned NBC dramas. (Deadline.com)
FUCK IT BUCKET, THE (Netflix) - Stephen Fry has signed on to star opposite newcomer Sophie Wilde in the drama series, in which when 17-year-old Mia is released from hospital after a lengthy battle with anorexia nervosa, she decides the only way to catch up on a childhood that is racing by without her is to make a bucket list. He will play the role of "Mia Polanco (Wilde)'s doctor, Dr. Nell." Lauryn Ajufo also stars as Becca, "one of her best friends" along with Harry Cadby and Noah Thomas. Vivienne Acheampong is Mia's mum Viv, Alex Hassell is Mia's dad Rick, Sam Reuben is Mia's brother Alex and Niamh McCormack is school friend Alison. Sian McWilliams and Andy Harries of Left Bank Pictures are the executive producers alongside creator Ripley Parker with Huberta von Liel producing and Alyssa McClelland, Charlie Manton, Dionne Edwards and Laura Steinel directing.
