BLACKLIST, THE (NBC) - Anya Banerjee has joined the cast of the show's 10th season as Siya Malik, "an active Intelligence Officer for the UK's Secret Intelligence Service, also known as MI6. She's the daughter of Meera Malik (Parminder Nagra), the late CIA agent and early member of the Reddington Task Force." (Deadline.com)
CHANGEMAKERS, THE (Paramount+, New!) - The streamer has commissioned an eight-episode series "featuring the stories of eight ordinary people fighting for a better world. Stories will range from Black mothers in the U.S. fighting the effects of systemic racism to Indigenous people in Ecuador protecting their land from deforestation." Proper Content is producing with David DeHaney presumably among the executive producers. (Deadline.com)
OUTER RANGE (Amazon) - Charles Murray has been tapped as showrunner of the just ordered second season of the series. He'll take over from creator Brian Watkins. (Deadline.com)
SNOWFALL (FX) - Tamara Taylor is bound for the show's sixth and final season in a yet-to-be-revealed role. (Deadline.com)
VELMA (HBO Max) - The upcoming animated series has confirmed its principal cast of Mindy Kaling as Velma, Constance Wu as Daphne, Sam Richardson as Shaggy, and Glenn Howerton as Fred. Additionally, Jane Lynch, Wanda Sykes, Russell Peters, Melissa Fumero, Stephen Root, Gary Cole, Ken Leung, Cherry Jones, Frank Welker, "Weird Al" Yankovic, Fortune Feimster, Yvonne Orji, Sarayu Blue, Nicole Byer, Ming-Na Wen, Shay Mitchell, Debby Ryan, Kulap Vilaysak, and Karl-Anthony Towns will appear in unspecified roles.
