BEAR, THE (FX on Hulu) - Molly Gordon will recur on the show's sophomore run in a yet-to-be-revealed role. (Deadline.com)
CALL ME KAT (FOX) - The network has canceled the comedy series after three seasons. Said the network in a statement: "We are very proud of CALL ME KAT. But, unfortunately, the audience response to it was not as strong as we had hoped. We are thankful for our partnership with Warner Bros. Television, That's Wonderful Productions, Sad Clown Productions, BBC Studios, Mayim Bialik, Jim Parsons and the entire cast and crew for their work and dedication to CALL ME KAT."
DOCTOR WHO (Disney+) - Jonathan Groff is bound for the series as a "mysterious guest." (Deadline.com)
LOOT, THE (Apple TV+) - The Maya Rudolph-led comedy has pushed filming due to the WGA strike. (THR.com)
PSYCH (USA Network) - A fourth movie based on the series is inching closer to reality. A script has been completed with "scheduling" indicated as the only reason it didn't go into production last year. (TVLine.com)
REACHER (Amazon) - Robert Patrick will recur on the upcoming season as Langston, "a streetwise former NYPD detective with a questionable track record who is now head of security for a private defense contractor." He replaces Rory Cochrane, who bowed out after a scheduling conflict at the end of last year. (Deadline.com)
S.W.A.T. (CBS) - The Eye has pulled the plug on the veteran drama after six seasons. "For six seasons, the amazing talents of the 'S.W.A.T.' cast led by Shemar Moore, the writers, producers and crew guided by Executive Producers Shawn Ryan, Andy Dettman and Aaron Rahsaan Thomas brought us compelling, action packed episodes that also addressed important social issues and contributed to the success of our primetime line up," said Amy Reisenbach, president of CBS Entertainment. "We sincerely thank them for their incredible work and passion and also thank our dedicated fans who tuned in every week." (Variety.com)
