Netflix Announces and Reveals First Look for Upcoming Japanese Live Action Series 'Beyond Goodbye'

Netflix today announced a new Japanese romance live action series 'Beyond Goodbye'.

The lead roles are played by Kasumi Arimura, known for her hit film 'We Made a Beautiful Bouquet' which grossed over 3.8 billion at the box office, and her successful Netflix film 'Call me Chihiro', and Kentaro Sakaguchi, known for the highly successful film 'The Last 10 Years' and his roles in hit TV drama series.

This is a completely original story by Yoshikazu Okada, known for his human drama works among the Japanese audience.

Filmed in beautiful and spectacular locations, it's a love story that depicts the heartbreaking miracle of two people whose lives are tossed about by fate.Following "Crash Landing on You" and "First Love," this is a new epic romantic series created by Netflix.

About 'Beyond Goodbye': Saeko suddenly loses her fiancé Yusuke in a traffic accident. As she tries to overcome her grief, she meets Naruse, a man who strangely reminds her of Yusuke. Little did she know that Naruse had received Yusuke's heart a few months prior to their encounter - a heart still in love and holding all the memories of Yusuke and Saeko's relationship.
