Roku Acquires Streaming Rights for Beloved Sitcom "The Goldbergs" from Sony Pictures Television

All 10 seasons to stream on a dedicated FAST channel for the first time beginning Thursday, August 1

SAN JOSE, Calif. and CULVER CITY, Calif. - July 30, 2024 - Roku, America's #1 TV streaming platform*, and Sony Pictures Television (SPT) have finalized a streaming deal for the beloved sitcom "The Goldbergs" to be made available for free on The Roku Channel. For the first time, all 10 seasons will be featured on a dedicated FAST channel, exclusively streaming on The Roku Channel starting Thursday, August 1.

"The Goldbergs" is a multigenerational comedy that takes place when Reagan was in the White House, the malls were filled with New Wave fashionistas, and the Goldbergs were living large in the '80s. Documenting his hilariously combative yet loving family with a video camera nearly as big as he is, 11-year-old geek Adam is witness to all kinds of insanity from his over-protective, over-the-top mom, quick-tempered dad, rebellious sister, high-strung brother, and super suave grandfather.

The cast of "The Goldbergs" includes Wendi McLendon-Covey, Jeff Garlin, Hayley Orrantia, Sean Giambrone, Troy Gentile, George Segal, Patton Oswalt, and Sam Lerner. "The Goldbergs" was produced by Sony Pictures Television and Happy Madison Productions.

"The Goldbergs" FAST channel will be available on Channel 333 through The Roku Channel's Live TV Guide.
