CBS News will deliver special multiplatform AMERICA DECIDES: CAMPAIGN '24 coverage of the 2024 Democratic National Convention in Chicago from Monday, Aug. 19 through Thursday, Aug. 22. CBS News top political journalists will bring around-the-clock updates from across the country, including in-depth analysis and original reporting about the Democratic convention and the latest developments with the Trump-Vance campaign.

CBS News' primetime coverage of the convention will be anchored by CBS EVENING NEWS anchor and managing editor Norah O'Donnell Monday through Thursday, with special editions of the CBS EVENING NEWS WITH NORAH O'DONNELL originating from Chicago those nights.

CBS MORNINGS co-host Tony Dokoupil will be in Chicago all week to kick off daily coverage of the convention starting Monday, Aug. 19. Dokoupil will deliver feature pieces and newsmaker interviews each day of the convention as he speaks with Democratic leaders and voters in Chicago. A special edition of the broadcast will air Thursday, Aug. 22 with co-hosts Gayle King and Dokoupil reporting live from the DNC. Dokoupil and King will also contribute to CBS News' comprehensive coverage across platforms throughout the week.

During each night's primetime coverage from 8:00-11:00 PM, ET, O'Donnell will be joined by CBS News' team of political journalists including chief political analyst John Dickerson, chief election and campaign correspondent Robert Costa, chief White House correspondent Nancy Cordes, senior White House and political correspondent Ed O'Keefe, senior White House correspondent Weijia Jiang and national correspondent Adriana Diaz.

Additional CBS News correspondents, including our 2024 campaign reporters, will be on the ground in Chicago covering all happenings within and around the convention hall.

CBS News coverage will also feature new polling and insight from executive director of elections and surveys Anthony Salvanto in New York. Plus, chief Washington correspondent Major Garrett and congressional correspondent Nikole Killion will also contribute to CBS News' political coverage during the week.

Political correspondent Caitlin Huey-Burns and congressional correspondent Scott MacFarlane will report on the Trump-Vance campaign and deliver real-time updates on the GOP's efforts as the DNC is underway. Viewers can expect the latest news about the Trump-Vance campaign from our 2024 campaign reporters on the trail.

CBS News digital platforms, including CBSNews.com, the CBS News app and CBS News social channels will deliver dedicated coverage of the Democratic National Convention. Coverage of the convention will stream everywhere CBS News 24/7 is distributed, including Paramount+ and Pluto TV.

CBS News Radio will deliver live coverage from the DNC with evening special reports from Monday, Aug. 19 to Thursday, Aug. 22. On Thursday at 9:00 PM, ET, WORLD NEWS ROUNDUP anchor Steve Kathan hosts anchored coverage of Vice President Kamala Harris' acceptance speech. Guests will include political reporter Doug Sovern of KCBS-AM from the United Center in Chicago. White House reporter Linda Kenyon joins from Washington, D.C.

5:00 PM (CBS News 24/7) CBS News chief White House correspondent Nancy Cordes anchors AMERICA DECIDES, streaming on CBS News 24/7, to provide the latest updates from the DNC.

6:00 PM (CBS News 24/7) THE DAILY REPORT WITH JOHN DICKERSON, streaming on CBS News 24/7, will offer the latest analysis on the DNC and news of the week.

6:30 PM (CBS Television Network) The CBS EVENING NEWS WITH NORAH O'DONNELL will air with the latest headlines and reporting from the DNC. From Monday, Aug. 19 through Thursday, Aug. 22, the broadcast will originate from Chicago.
