The One-Hour Special Takes a Look at New Details About the Life and Alleged Crimes of Music Mogul Sean 'Diddy' Combs
The timely new primetime special "Secret Life of Diddy - A Special Edition of 20/20," from ABC News Studios, airs Wednesday, Oct. 9 (10:02-11:00 p.m. EDT) on ABC, streaming next day on Hulu. The one-hour special takes a look at the shocking arrest of Sean "Diddy" Combs, and the downfall of the famous and powerful hip-hop mogul. Once a paragon of Black excellence, the allegations of violence and sexual assault could send Diddy to prison for the rest of his life with wide-reaching repercussions. New reporting and new details as the allegations of his alleged criminal enterprise, involving "freak offs," drugs and sex trafficking, continue to come to light.
Singer, rapper and actor Ray J speaks out in a new interview. The special also includes a recent interview with Lizzette Martinez, who survived abuse at the hands of R. Kelly. She speaks about an encounter she says she had with Diddy and reacts to the upsetting CNN video showing Diddy beating his then-girlfriend, Cassie Ventura. Also included are Tiffany Red, a friend of Cassie Ventura and GRAMMY(R)-winning producer and songwriter who provides intimate details about the relationship between Cassie and Diddy; and contributors Kelley Carter, ABC News entertainment contributor; Aaron Katersky, ABC News senior investigative correspondent; Brian Buckmire, ABC News legal contributor and defense attorney; and Jamilah Lemieux, culture critic and writer.
