THE "MYSTERY AT BLIND FROG RANCH" DEEPENS AS THE SEARCH FOR LOST AZTEC GOLD DIGS UP UNEXPECTED NEW DISCOVERIES AND REVELATIONS

All-New Season Returns Wednesday, November 20 at 10PM ET/PT on Discovery Channel

(Burbank, CA) October 24, 2024 - Surprising revelations await father and son duo Duane and Chad Ollinger as they resume their excavation of Blind Frog Ranch, their remote 160-acre property in Utah's Uinta Basin rumored to sit atop an ancient hidden Aztec fortune. Premiering Wednesday, November 20 at 10PM ET/PT on Discovery Channel, the all-new season of MYSTERY AT BLIND FROG RANCH opens a new chapter in the team's fervent search for lost gold as they make groundbreaking new discoveries, uncover unexpected artifacts and piece together what may be a new pathway of history.

For more than a decade, Duane and Chad have invested their all into locating a 500-year-old lost Aztec treasure they believe is hidden in a vast system of underground caves buried deep within their ranch. After discovering a mysterious keyhole shaped cavern that could be the link to the fortune, they are pushing the limits to find a viable way in. But the more they push, the more the land fights back as dangerous cave-ins and mysterious phenomena - puzzling seismic activity, unusual weather patterns and even strange wildlife - hinder their progress.

Calling in help from treasure-hunting specialists, the team launches a new plan to excavate multiple sites simultaneously and they quickly uncover ancient ceremonial beads and artifacts that seem to indicate a sacrificial site. Lab testing reveals there is a much deeper history to the area than they previously thought, opening up new possibilities - including one that Blind Frog Ranch could potentially be the birthplace of the original Aztec civilization. Meanwhile, LiDAR scans reveal a fault line that connects several locations on the ranch and beyond and could be another way into the cave system. But when the team discovers an underwater cavern, they may have finally hit paydirt - but will this mysterious land be ready to give up its long-hidden secrets?
