MONTREAL, November 14, 2024 - Prime Video announced today the all-new lineup of comedians set to participate in the third season of LOL: Qui rira le dernier? Hosted by Patrick Huard, this season will continue to test each comedian's ability to make their opponents laugh, while trying not to laugh themselves. The full lineup of comedians includes Jean-Michel Anctil, Réal Béland, Anne-Élisabeth Bossé, Jo Cormier, Korine Côté, Mona de Grenoble (Alexandre Aussant), Maude Landry, Mélanie Maynard, Dominic Paquet and Erich Preach. This year, Prime Video will premiere all six episodes as binge on January 10, 2025 globally.

Season 3 of LOL: Qui rira le dernier? is the latest season of the adaptation of Documental, the successful Japanese Amazon Original series created by and starring Hitoshi Matsumoto and owned by Yoshimoto Kogyo, where Matsumoto leads 10 comedians in an anything-goes "battle of laughter behind closed doors." Using 45 cameras to catch all of the hilarious action during the unpredictable six-hour competition, the series follows the select group of established comedy stars and up-and-coming talent who bring various styles to the table, including stand-up, character, improvisational, and physical comedy - all to win the grand

prize of $100,000 for a charity of their choice. The fan-favourite format spawns' local versions in South Africa, Ireland, Mexico, Australia, Germany, Italy, France, India, and more. Local celebrity hosts include Trevor Noah, Graham Norton, Eugenio Derbez, Fedez, Michael "Bully" Herbig, and Rebel Wilson. 

LOL: Qui rira le dernier? comes from Amazon Studios, commissioned by Attraction. The series continues the investment in French-language content by Prime Video, including Elisabeth Rioux: Sans Filtre, Nuit Blanche and Pour un Soir Seulement, and is part of the Prime Video slate of content developed in Canada including I AM: CELINE DION, Mr. Dressup: The Magic of Make-Believe, The Tragically Hip: No Dress Rehearsal, Saving Sakic, Faceoff: Inside The NHL, The Kids in the Hall, Three Pines, LOL: Last One Laughing Canada, All or Nothing: Toronto Maple Leafs, The Unsolved Murder of Beverly Lynn Smith and upcoming series The Sticky.
