Netflix's First Korean Space Romance 'When the Stars Gossip' Premieres January 4, 2025!

Netflix is set to launch its first Korean Earth-to-space romance, When the Stars Gossip, premiering January 4, 2025 (KST). Combining stellar visuals with an A-list cast, this romantic comedy promises to redefine the K-romance genre.

When the Stars Gossip, penned by acclaimed writer Seo Sook-hyang and directed by Park Shin-woo (It's Okay to Not Be Okay, Don't Dare to Dream), takes viewers to an entirely new frontier - space. The groundbreaking series stars rom-com icons Lee Min-ho and Kong Hyo-jin, alongside Oh Jung-se, Han Ji-eun, and more, in a tale that blends interstellar adventure with heartfelt romance.

Lee Min-ho stars as Gong Ryong, an OB-GYN-turned-space-tourist with a secret mission. As the enigmatic guest aboard a space station, his journey is as mysterious as it is thrilling.

Kong Hyo-jin plays Commander Eve Kim, a no-nonsense perfectionist leading her first space mission. Her unflinching professionalism faces new challenges as the stakes soar.

Oh Jung-se transforms into Kang Kang-su, a thrill-seeking scientist studying fruit flies while escaping the mundane.

Han Ji-eun captivates as Choi Go-eun, the ambitious heiress to MZ Group and Gong Ryong's dazzlingly independent girlfriend.

Supporting the leads are a dynamic ensemble, including Kim Joo-heon as a veteran astronaut, EL as an Earth-bound mission chief, and Lee Cho-hee in a dual role as twin sisters with opposing personalities.

With its cosmic setting, visually stunning effects, and richly layered characters, When the Stars Gossip offers a fresh twist on K-romance. Don't miss the stellar debut on Netflix this January 4, 2025!
