CBS News will deliver special coverage of the presidential inauguration of Donald J. Trump across all shows and platforms. Coverage begins on Monday, Jan. 20, 2025 on CBS News 24/7 at 6:00 AM, ET anchored by Errol Barnett, and on the CBS Television Network at 7:00 AM, ET with a special edition of CBS MORNINGS anchored by Gayle King, Tony Dokoupil and Nate Burleson from Washington, D.C.

Beginning at 9:00 AM, ET, Norah O'Donnell will anchor the all-day coverage on the CBS Television Network and streaming on CBS News 24/7, continuing until at least 5:00 PM, ET. CBS News journalists will join the coverage throughout the day, including John Dickerson, Maurice DuBois, Margaret Brennan, Gayle King, Tony Dokoupil, Nancy Cordes, Major Garrett, Robert Costa, Jan Crawford, Dr. Jon LaPook, Ed O'Keefe, Weijia Jiang, Kris Van Cleave, Nikole Killion, Scott MacFarlane, Caitlin Huey-Burns, Nancy Chen, Omar Villafranca, Kelly O'Grady, Nicole Sganga and Willie Inman.

CBS News journalists will also report from around the country on how the new administration's policies on the economy, inflation, safety, reproductive rights and more will affect everyday Americans. Special guests and CBS News contributors Douglas Brinkley, Joel Payne, Leslie Sanchez and Terry Sullivan will join our coverage to contribute analysis and historical context.

Major Garrett and Lindsey Reiser will anchor continuing coverage into the evening on CBS News 24/7 with the latest breaking news and reporting. The day concludes with INAUGURATION IN AMERICA - A CBS NEWS PRIMETIME REPORT at 10:00 PM, ET on the CBS Television Network, anchored by John Dickerson, Maurice DuBois and Margaret Brennan. CBS News journalists will share key moments from the inauguration with newsmaker interviews, examine the state of the nation and illuminate the hopes of the American people as the new administration begins.

CBS News' inauguration coverage will stream wherever CBS News 24/7 is distributed, including the CBS News app, CBSNews.com, YouTube, social platforms, Paramount+ and Pluto. CBSNews.com will live-blog Inauguration Day, and CBS News journalists will create original explainers and analysis for social media platforms throughout the week.

CBS Newspath will deliver around-the-clock coverage of the inauguration to 200+ stations, affiliates and clients. Jarred Hill and Erica Brown will lead coverage in the days leading up to and after Inauguration Day, and Natalie Brand will report from the inaugural parade route. CBS Newspath desk teams will provide live feeds of the day's events and facilitate up to the minute cuts and sound for all CBS News platforms.

CBS News Radio will deliver anchored longform coverage of the inauguration ceremony from approximately 11:00 - 1:00 PM, ET, anchored by Steve Kathan and joined by Linda Kenyon, Stacy Lyn and Christopher Cruise. Leading up to, throughout and after the inauguration, CBS News Radio will provide one-on-one interviews with CBS News correspondents and experts, short form special reports, and live feeds of surrounding events in Washington, D.C.

CBS News' inauguration live broadcast will also provide audio-narrated descriptions of the program's key visual elements, allowing viewers who are blind and low vision to participate in what is happening on screen. The live audio description will be provided on the Secondary Audio Programming (SAP) channel by Descriptive Video Works (DVW). Live audio description will only be available on the CBS Television Network feed and on CBS affiliates equipped for the service. CBS has provided audio description since April 1, 2002, and is proud to have been an industry leader and innovator through voluntary expansion of the service that consistently exceeds the FCC's requirements.

Additionally, CBS will voluntarily provide a dedicated CBS News Streaming feed with live American Sign Language interpreters within the main broadcast. Viewers can access the feed via CBSNews.com.
