12 12 12 (Apple TV+) - Jack Kesy has been cast opposite Anthony Mackie and Jamie Dornan in the international heist series as "Dorman's brother who also is involved in the heist." (Deadline.com, 4/23)
60 MINUTES (CBS) - Executive producer Bill Owens has announced his exit from the series, releasing the following statement: "Over the past months, it has also become clear that I would not be allowed to run the show as I have always run it. To make independent decisions based on what was right for 60 Minutes, right for the audience. So, having defended this show - and what we stand for - from every angle, over time with everything I could, I am stepping aside so the show can move forward." (Deadline.com, 4/22)
BERLIN NOIR (Apple TV+) - Tom Hanks and Gary Goetzman's small screen take on Philip Kerr's novels has found a new home after originating at HBO in 2012. Peter Straughan is spearheading said take, which will be based on the final book in the series: "Set in 1928, Metropolis follows newly promoted police officer Gunther in the intimidating elite Berlin Murder Squad, investigating what seems to be a serial killer targeting victims on the fringes of society." Jane Tranter, Dan McCulloch and Ryan Rasmussen will also executive produce for Bad Wolf and Playtone. (Deadline.com, 4/24)
CALABASAS BEHIND THE GATES (Hulu, New!) - Fulwell Entertainment is developing a reality series at the streamer "set behind the gated community of Calabasas, CA." The Kardashians family is also behind the project, however no specific auspices were given. (Deadline.com, 4/22)
DMV (CBS) - The single-camera comedy has been ordered to series by the network: "Based on award winning author Katherine Heiny's short story, a single camera workplace comedy set at the place everyone dreads going most: the DMV. Our quirky and lovable characters are making minimum wage, doing a thankless job where customers are annoyed before they even walk in the door. Good thing they have each other." Harriet Dyer, Tim Meadows, Molly Kearney, Alex Tarrant, Tony Cavalero and Gigi Zumbado star in the project, from writer Dana Klein, director Trent O'Donnell, and CBS Studios. Aaron Kaplan, Wendi Trilling and Robyn Meisinger also serve as executive producers. (Deadline.com, 4/22)
EINSTEIN (CBS) - The drama has likewise been ordered to series by the Eye: "Brilliant but directionless, the great grandson of Albert Einstein spends his days as a comfortably tenured professor until his bad boy antics land him in trouble with the law and he is pressed into service helping a local police detective solve her most puzzling cases." Matthew Gray Gubler and Rosa Salazar star in the project, from writer Andy Breckman, director Randy Zisk, and CBS Studios. Tariq Jalil, Rose Hughes, Rodrigo Herrera Ibarguengoytia and Laura Beetz also serve as executive producers. (Deadline.com, 4/22)
FBI: CIA (CBS) - Tom Ellis is set to star in the "FBI" offshoot, which has been ordered to series. Dick Wolf and David Hudgins are behind the project, which was originally planned to be set up via a backdoor pilot episode this season. Nicole Perlman, David Chasteen and Peter Jankowski will also executive produce for Universal Television, Wolf Entertainment and CBS Studios. (Deadline.com, 4/22)
FIRE COUNTRY (CBS) - Original cast members Jordan Calloway (Jake Crawford) and Stephanie Arcila (Gabriela Perez) won't be returning for the show's fourth season. (Deadline.com, 4/25)
HOLES (Disney+) - The pilot, based on Louis Sachar's book of the same name, has set its principal cast: Greg Kinnear as The Warden, "the boss at Camp Yucca, with a flair for manipulation and getting the upper hand on his campers"; Aidy Bryant as Sissy, "who is overflowing with camp counselor energy"; Shay Rudolph as Hayley, "who arrives at Camp Yucca after being wrongly accused"; Flor Delis Alicea as Queenie, "the tough queen bee, a seemingly fearless leader whose hard edges cover up her vulnerability": Anire Kim Amoda as Thumbelina, "who is bold and not scared of anything or anyone, not even The Warden"; Noah Cottrell as Kitch, "who works in the kitchen at Camp Yucca"; Iesha Daniels as Mars, "a brainy, charismatic, no-nonsense, and a bit of a player among the queer female campers"; Sophie Dieterlen as Sticky, "an ever-daydreaming girly-girl with a kind heart and an abiding passion for clothes, but she can be serious and driven when needed"; Alexandra Doke as Eyeball, "a mischievous, zany artist who sees the world in her own idiosyncratic way and often lightens a heavy mood with a joke"; and Maeve Press as Shrimp, "the youngest and smallest of the campers, and her unusual, blunt nature makes her an outcast amongst the girls." HOUSE OF THE DRAGON (HBO) - The show's third season has cast Tom Cullen as Ser Luthor Largent, Joplin Sibtain as Ser "Bold" Jon Roxton, and Barry Sloane as Ser Adrian Redfort. No other character details were given. (Deadline.com, 4/23)
LANTERNS (HBO) - Paul Ben-Victor will recur on the DC Comics series as Antaan, "an extraterrestrial devoted to exposing the truth and exacting vengeance against those who wronged his people. Consumed by a deep and unrelenting hatred for the law, he is determined to deliver justice on his own terms." (Deadline.com, 4/23)
M.I.A. (Peacock) - Alberto Guerra, Edward James Olmos, Billy Burke and Sônia Braga have all scored roles on the upcoming South Florida-set crime drama. No character details however were given. (Deadline.com, 4/21)
POPPA'S HOUSE (CBS) - The comedy series starring Damon Wayans and Damon Wayans Jr. has been canceled after one season. Its de facto finale airs this Monday. (Deadline.com, 4/22)
ROBIN HOOD (MGM+) - The adventure series has cast the following actors to recur: Richard Lintern as Bishop of Hereford; Erica Ford as Ralph Miller; Ryan Gage as Spragart; Oscar Salem as The Earl of Pembroke; Miloš Timotijević as Egbert; and Tamara Radovanović as an unspecified character. ROOKIE, THE (ABC) - Deric Augustine's Miles Penn has been promoted to regular on the series, currently airing its seventh season. (Deadline.com, 4/22)
ROYAL PAINS (REBOOT SERIES) (NBC, New!) - Mark Feuerstein will topline a proposed revival of the former USA Network staple, which followed Dr. Henry "Hank" Lawson (Feuerstein), "a former New York ER doctor, as he embarks on a new adventure with his own concierge practice in the Hamptons, where he mostly caters to wealthy patients." Original series writers Andrew Lenchewski and Michael Rauch are returning for the project: "The NBC project is set several years later and finds Hank, searching for a new purpose in life, about to embark on his biggest project yet." They'll executive produce alongside Feuerstein and Rich Frank for Universal Content Productions. No other cast members are currently attached. (Deadline.com, 4/24)
SEVEN SISTERS (FX) - Ryan Eggold will round out the cast of the drama pilot as "Adrienne's (Elizabeth Olsen) husband, a former addict, which he talks about frequently on his popular podcast." (Deadline.com, 4/23)
SHERIFF COUNTRY (CBS) - Christopher Gorham and Michele Weaver have both been cast in the Morena Baccarin-led series. Gorham will play Travis, "a lawyer and Sheriff Mickey Fox's ex-husband. Together, they have a daughter, Skye, whom they've helped through addiction struggles. Despite their many differences, Travis and Mickey might still harbor feelings for each other." And Weaver is set as Cassidy, "a deputy in the Edgewater County Sheriff's Office who was inspired by Mickey to join law enforcement. Cassidy places Mickey on a pedestal but must now figure out what kind of deputy she wants to be." (Deadline.com, 4/22)
SHOP FOR KILLERS, A (Hulu) - The Korean drama has been renewed for a second season. (Deadline.com, 4/22)
STERLING POINT (Amazon) - Ella Rubin and Amélie Elisabeth Hoeferle are set to star in the YA drama series. Rubin is believed to be playing Annie "who, along with her twin brother, were raised in New York by their single dad before they find out that their estranged grandfather left them an island on a lake in his will." Hoeferle then is Ramona, "a teen living on the island who was raised by her grandfather." (Deadline.com, 4/23)
STUMBLE (NBC) - Jenn Lyon is the first to be cast in the comedy pilot as Courteney Potter: "Tied for the winningest coach in Junior College Cheer history, Courteney has a huge fall from grace when a "scandalous" video emerges of her partying with her team, forcing her to take a job coaching at a small crappy school in a town with an unpronounceable name. Can she win the championship with a rag tag team of misfits? She can. She must. She ... might not." (Deadline.com, 4/23)
SUITS LA (NBC) - Yvette Nicole Brown will appear as herself in the show's May 4 episode. (Variety.com, 4/25)

TOTALLY FUNNY ANIMALS (The CW) - The network has commissioned 100 additional episodes of the clip-based reality series from FishBowl Worldwide Media. (Deadline.com, 4/22)
UNTITLED CUSE STAR WARS PROJECT (Disney+, New!) - Father-and-son duo Carlton Cuse and Nick Cuse are in "very early development" on a "Star Wars" for the streaming service. No other details were given. (TheInSneider.com, 4/21)
UNTITLED EQUALIZER SPIN-OFF PROJECT (CBS) - The Eye has passed on the proposed spin-off series starring Titus Welliver and Juani Feliz, which aired its backdoor pilot episode this past Sunday. The parent series has yet to be renewed for a sixth season, the only scripted decision left to be made by the network. (Deadline.com, 4/22)
UNTITLED JONESTOWN PROJECT (HBO, New!) - Bill Hader and Daniel Zelman are developing a series at the network "centered on Jim Jones and the infamous events at the Peoples Temple Agricultural Project, a.k.a. Jonestown." Hader is also being eyed to potentially star. No other details were given. (Variety.com, 4/23)
UNTITLED MONTAG & PRATT PROJECT (Hulu, New!) - "The Hills" alums Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt are developing a new series with the streamer "about their lives in the aftermath of losing their home in the Pacific Palisades in the fires that devastated Los Angeles in January." UNTITLED MURDAUGH MURDERS (Hulu) - Gerald McRaney has been cast in the limited series as Randolph Murdaugh: "The lion of the Lowcountry. Randolph Murdaugh is the powerful patriarch of the Murdaugh clan and the epitome of a Southern Good Ol' Boy. Like his father and grandfather before him, Randolph served as Solicitor for nearly 30 years while also running the family's lucrative firm. Randolph has always been able navigate any trouble his family has encountered, but the latest crisis may prove beyond even his own considerable power." Also tapped for the project are Madeline Popovich as Mallory Beach; Jim O'Heir as Dick Harpootlian; Jessi Case as Morgan Doughty; Mark Pellegrino as Curtis "Eddie" Smith; Nicholas Cirillo as Connor Cook; Patch Daragh as John Marvin Murdaugh; and Ryan Paynter as Anthony Cook.
