TUBI ACQUIRES SPORTS DOCUMENTARY SERIES "ZERO STAR: THE CAM WARD STORY"

Six-Episode Series Developed and Produced by Firebrand Media Group Premieres September 2025, Exclusively on Tubi

SAN FRANCISCO, June 16, 2025 - Tubi (www.tubi.tv), Fox Corporation's (NASDAQ: FOXA, FOX) ad-supported streaming service, today announced it has acquired the original sports documentary series ZERO STAR: THE CAM WARD STORY, a powerful new docuseries chronicling the unlikely rise of Cam Ward - from an overlooked high school quarterback with a single Division I FCS offer to the leader of the Miami Hurricanes and the No. 1 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. The series will premiere exclusively on Tubi in September 2025.

Developed and produced by Firebrand Media Group, the six-episode series delivers unprecedented access to Cam Ward's life - on and off the field. ZERO STAR is more than a football story: it's a portrait of faith, family, and resilience in the face of constant rejection. Through never-before-seen archival footage, raw behind-the-scenes moments, and intimate interviews with Ward, his family, coaches, teachers, and teammates, the series peels back the layers of a young man who refused to quit.

"Being overlooked - in my shoes, it was a blessing and a curse," says Ward. "I overcame the curse by turning adversity into strength and I have played with nothing to lose, which is a blessing. It means you bring it all and leave it all out there on the field and in life."

"We're incredibly grateful to share our story," says Calvin Ward, Cam's father. "From the very beginning, when no one else saw Cam's potential, we believed in him. This journey wasn't just about football - it was about faith, perseverance, and never giving up on your child, even when the world says no."

"I've seen Cam at his lowest and his most determined," adds Chantel Ward, Cam's sister. "People don't understand how many nights he questioned if it was all worth it - but he never stopped fighting. As his sister, I couldn't be prouder."

Each episode in ZERO STAR explores a pivotal moment in Cam's life - from being passed over at regional camps, to his record-setting season at UIW, to the media frenzy around his transfer to Miami, and ultimately to his unexpected Heisman run. The series follows Cam to the NFL Draft, capturing the emotional weight of a family that never gave up, and the raw payoff of a young man finally being seen.

"Cam's journey isn't just about football - it's about heart, belief, and the power of second chances," says director Alec Roth, a partner at Firebrand Media Group. "This series gives viewers an unfiltered look at a young man who was told 'no' at every stage yet refused to quit. From backyard games in West Columbia to draft night glory, Cam's story unfolds across six episodes filled with raw emotion, defining moments, and behind-the-scenes access. It's a modern hero's journey - and a blueprint for anyone who's ever felt overlooked."

"From zero star to No. 1 pick, Cam Ward's story is a rallying cry to all underdogs to face adversity head-on, "said Sam Harowitz, SVP of Content Acquisitions and Partnerships at Tubi. "With Firebrand Media Group, we're excited to bring this docuseries to Tubi viewers, offering an intimate portrait of the young man behind jersey #1."

For Firebrand Media Group, ZERO STAR represents a creative vision brought to life without compromise. "We're proud to partner with Tubi for the exclusive premiere and national release of ZERO STAR: The Cam Ward Story," said Jeff Symon, Head of Revenue and Distribution at Firebrand Media Group. "Tubi has shown tremendous support for our creative vision, allowing us to stay true to the heart of this story while also backing the series with the promotion it deserves. We're excited for audiences everywhere to experience Cam's inspiring journey."

ZERO STAR: THE CAM WARD STORY is developed and produced by Firebrand Media Group, alongside director Alec Roth (Billy Knight) and producers Josh Clayton, Jeff Symon, Kirk Martin, Robby Clifford, Manoj Gandhi, Jelani Hawkins, Peter Morgan, Tuan Bui and producer/editor James Tartanella. The acquisition deal was brokered by Jeff Symon on behalf of Firebrand and Ian Nelson for Tubi.
