News from AMC Networks' Anne Rice Immortal Universe Comic-Con Panels
San Diego, California - Saturday, July 26, 2025 - Today, AMC Networks' Anne Rice Immortal Universe invaded Comic-Con International's Ballroom 20 with exciting panels for the debut season of Anne Rice's Talamasca and new season of Anne Rice's Interview with the Vampire -- titled Anne Rice's The Vampire Lestat -- both moderated by TV Guide Magazine's Damian Holbrook.
Anne Rice's Talamasca panel included Executive Producer Mark Johnson, who oversees the Anne Rice Immortal Universe; Showrunners and Executive Producers John Lee Hancock and Mark Lafferty; and series stars Nicholas Denton ("Guy Anatole"), William Fichtner ("Jasper"), Maisie Richardson-Sellers ("Olive") and Celine Buckens ("Doris"), as well as an exclusive reveal of the official teaser trailer, a first look scene from the premiere episode, and the premiere date announcement of Sunday, October 26 at 9pm ET/PT.
Attendees were thrilled by a surprise appearance by Eric Bogosian, who portrays investigative journalist and author of Interview with a Vampire, "Daniel Molloy," and the announcement that he will reprise his role, guest starring as a crossover character in the new series.
Holbrook then kicked off a discussion for The Vampire Lestat, inspired by the Anne Rice novel, featuring panelists Johnson; Showrunner and Executive Producer Rolin Jones; Composer Daniel Hart; and cast members Sam Reid (Lestat de Lioncourt), Jacob Anderson (Louis de Pointe du Lac) and Bogosian, who discussed the new season.
Attendees were given an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at The Vampire Lestat and new photos of the rockstar Lestat as well as casting news, including:
o The return of Delainey Hayles and Assad Zaman
o Jennifer Ehle (Lioness), in the role of "Gabriella"
o Ella Ballentine (Black Conflux), in the role of "Baby Jenks"

Produced by AMC Studios, Anne Rice's Talamasca focuses on a secretive society called the Talamasca, comprised of the men and women responsible for tracking and containing the witches, vampires, and other creatures scattered around the globe. The show is executive produced by Academy Award(R)-nominated Hancock (The Blind Side) and Lafferty (The Right Stuff, Halt and Catch Fire), who also serve as co-showrunners, award-winning producer Johnson and Tom Williams along with Christopher Rice and the late Anne Rice. Hancock also directs.
