NEW YORK - August 14, 2025 - The gritty, psychological crime thriller, The Crow Girl, is set to premiere exclusively on Acorn TV in the U.S. and Canada on Monday, September 8, with additional episodes premiering weekly on the platform. Adapted from Erik Axl Sund's (pen name of Swedish author duo Jerker Eriksson and Håkan Axlander Sundquist) internationally bestselling novel of the same name, the 6-episode series is created, written and executive produced by Milly Thomas (River City, Clique) and follows DCI Jeanette Kilburn (Eve Myles, Hijack, Torchwood) and eminent psychotherapist Dr. Sophia Craven (Katherine Kelly, The Long Shadow, Protection) as they join forces to hunt the killer of young men. The investigation takes Jeanette and Sophia into a dangerous world of historic abuse and murder...

DCI Jeanette Kilburn (Myles) and partner DI Lou Stanley (Dougray Scott, Fear the Walking Dead) hunt the killer of young men. The investigation leads Jeanette to eminent psychotherapist Dr. Sophia Craven (Kelly), who provides her with vital information about a suspect. When Jeanette uncovers the body of a missing child, she finds herself hunting the mysterious Victoria (Clara Rugaard, Black Mirror).

The Crow Girl also stars SAG(R) Award-nominee Victoria Hamilton (The Crown) as Superintendent Verity Pound, Elliot Edusah (Django) as DC Mike Dilliston, Chloé Sweetlove (Bergerac) as Madeleine Burkeman, Raphael Sowole (The Sandman) as Alex Kilburn, Winston Sawyers as Joe Kilburn, Michael Lumsden (Professor T) as Ben Burkeman and Karen Ascoe (Grace) as Mary Burkeman.

The Crow Girl, an Acorn TV Exclusive Series, is created, written and executive produced by Milly Thomas. Erik Axl Sund, Federico Ambrosini, GRAMMY(R)-winning, world-renowned Guns N' Roses guitarist, Slash, and Niclas Salomonsson serve as executive producers. It's produced by Buccaneer, with the company's Richard Tulk-Hart and Tony Wood executive producing, in association with ITV Studios. Andy Mosse serves as producer. Charles Martin directed Episodes 1, 2 and 3, while Rebecca Rycroft directed Episodes 4, 5 and 6. ITV Studios handles the distribution of the series.
