TNT Sports Reaches Multi-Year Extension with Pedro Martinez

Baseball Hall of Famer & Three-Time Cy Young Award Winner to Continue as Studio Analyst for Regular Season and Postseason Coverage

TNT Sports has reached a multi-year extension with 2015 National Baseball Hall of Fame inductee Pedro Martinez, who has served as a studio analyst for TNT Sports' baseball coverage since he joined in 2012.

"Pedro's love for the game is contagious, and we look forward to showcasing his unmatched insights and one-of-a-kind personality within our baseball coverage for years to come," said Nate Smeltz, SVP, Global Communications and Talent Relations at TNT Sports.

"Just like baseball, being an analyst is all about teamwork," said MLB Hall of Famer Pedro Martinez. "I am grateful to TNT Sports and my fellow analysts for being great teammates and for sharing my values: showing up, working hard, and respecting the game. It has been an incredible journey so far, and I am excited to continue to be a part of this amazing team as we continue on this exciting journey."

Martinez is a mainstay on TNT Sports' MLB Tuesday studio programming, joining fellow analysts Jimmy Rollins and Curtis Granderson for pregame and postgame coverage throughout the season, all sharing insights from their more than 50 years of collective major league experience. Martinez's segment "Who's Your Daddy?" puts his own spin on the week's most valuable player and has become a signature part of the show.

During his playing career, Martinez was considered one of the most dominant pitchers in baseball history. A native of the Dominican Republic, Martinez amassed a career record of 219-100 along with 3,194 strikeouts in 18 years with the Dodgers, Expos, Red Sox, Mets and Phillies. The right-handed pitcher was an eight-time All Star, three-time Cy Young Award winner and won a World Series as a member of the 2004 Red Sox.

TNT Sports' 2025 MLB Postseason coverage will begin Saturday, October 4, with exclusive coverage of the National League Division Series and National League Championship Series on TBS, truTV and HBO Max.
