Netflix Announces the End of Filming for 'Oasis'
WHEN LUXURY BECOMES A GILDED PRISON, EVERYONE IS A SUSPECT
Netflix announces the end of production for Oasis, the new original series created by Ramón Campos, Jon de la Cuesta Olaizola, Javier Chacártegui Horrach, David Orea Arribas, and Ricardo Jornet Gallego, produced by Ramón Campos with executive production by Gema R. Neira, Jon de la Cuesta, and David Pinillos, from Bambú Producciones.
Oasis is the most luxurious holiday resort in the country - a paradise reserved for the wealthiest families, featuring private beaches, VIP facilities, and impenetrable security. The perfect place to spend the best summer of your life. But everything falls apart when the police storm the resort to investigate a mysterious disappearance. In such an exclusive place, everyone is a suspect - and no one can leave until the culprit is found.
According to producer Ramón Campos, "When we started Oasis, I told the Netflix team that I wanted to make a series for my daughters, who are 14. A story that speaks about what they're living through right now: friendship, secrets, doubts, and those first decisions that begin to define you. The mystery is just a vehicle. Oasis is my way of saying to them: I see you, I understand this moment, and I want to tell a story that truly speaks to you."
The series stars Ana Garcés (La Promesa), Tomy Aguilera (Welcome to Eden), and Victoria Kantch (Por tus muertos), alongside Berta Castañé (Sigue mi voz), Manel Duarte, Ada Molina, Alex Mola (La Calima), Cande Méndez, Laura Simón (Mar Afuera), Jan Buxaderas (Todos los lados de la cama), Amanda Palomino (Gastronauts), and Blas Polidori (Society of the Snow), who portray the guests and staff of this exclusive resort where nothing is as it seems. The cast also features Paco Tous and Verónica Sánchez.
Executive producer Gema Neira adds: "It's wonderful to work with such a young, talented, and passionate cast. Watching them grow and enjoy the experience has been a gift. They're joined by seasoned actors who provide a more mature counterpoint - the perfect cast for a project that moves between aspiration and thriller.".
Filmed in Tenerife, Oasis combines the visual magnetism of the island's landscapes with the pace and tension of a contemporary thriller. The series is produced by Bambú Producciones, the company behind acclaimed titles such as Cable Girls, Cocaine Coast, and The Asunta Case, reaffirming its commitment to Spanish fiction with a strong identity and international appeal.
Oasis has wrapped production and is now in post-production. The series is set to premiere exclusively on Netflix in 2026.
