LOS ANGELES and AUSTIN, Texas (June 25, 2026) - Wonder Project today announced a two-season order for Fluff Piece, the company's first original children's series, marking a major expansion of its family entertainment strategy and investment in programming for young audiences.
Created by Sylvia Brindis, Shane Snow, and Brian Donegan, Fluff Piece will premiere July 9 on Wonder Project, with two new episodes released weekly. The initial order includes 22 episodes across two seasons, consisting of a 10-episode first season and a 12-episode second season.
Designed for children ages 2-6+ and the grown-ups in their lives, Fluff Piece follows upbeat Happy Herald reporter Fiona Flash and her animated dog sidekick and staff photographer, Fluff, as they investigate silly mysteries and rumors around town. Whether tracking down a rooftop Pegasus or uncovering the truth behind rainbow-colored puddles, the duo follows clues, checks facts, and discovers that things are rarely what they first seem. Young viewers - known as "Newshounds" - are invited to investigate alongside them, encouraging curiosity, critical thinking, and the joy of asking good questions.
"From the moment we saw Fluff Piece, we knew it was something special," said Tristen Tuckfield, Head of Content Acquisition at Wonder Project. "The series is funny, imaginative, and incredibly entertaining, but it's also built around skills that matter for today's kids - curiosity, critical thinking, and asking good questions. Sylvia, Shane, Brian, and the entire team have created a world families will want to return to again and again, and we're thrilled to introduce audiences to Fluff and Fiona this summer."
Inspired by their experience as parents navigating a world saturated with information, Guatemalan-American actor, writer and producer, Brindis, and Tony Award-winning Broadway producer (The Outsiders), bestselling author (Dream Teams: Working Together Without Falling Apart) and former investigative journalist (The New Yorker, Wired, The Guardian), Snow created Fluff Piece to help young audiences learn media literacy and critical thinking skills from an early age through music, movement, and storytelling.
"We know children are consuming many hours of content by the time they enter Kindergarten," said series creator and star Brindis. "As parents of a toddler, Shane and I wanted to make a show that centers on something that matters to us and that we want to impart to our son - the pursuit of the truth, and the notion that you can go after it with kindness and curiosity."
Every episode features an original song composed by Chicago musician Devin Delaney of Noisefloor, with more than 15 original songs featured throughout the first season. Musical sequences are choreographed by The Joffrey Ballet's Xavier Nuñez and feature performances from The Joffrey Ballet Chicago dancers.
Produced by The Mad Ones Productions and powered by Unreal Engine technology, Fluff Piece combines live-action performance, traditional puppetry, and real-time animation.
In addition to creating the series, Brindis, Snow, and Donegan also serve as the writers, with Brindis, Snow, and Robert O'Neill executive-producing. The producers are Donegan, Brandon XIV, Nick Bartlett, Erica Duffy, and Jessica Black. Cory Coken, Jamie Vanadia, and Bryen Hensley co-executive produce, and David "Big" Krause co-produces.
Stream Fluff Piece on Wonder Project on Prime Video beginning July 9, with two new episodes released each week.
