Camp Lazlo Premiere Blisters Triple-Digit Ratings, Delivery Gains Among Kids 6-11
Second Camp Lazlo Episode Earns Even Stronger Kids 2-11 Ratings, Delivery Increases
More than 5 Million Different People 2+ Tune in to One of Four Friday-Night Camp Lazlo Telecasts
Last Friday�s eagerly anticipated premiere of Cartoon Network�s newest original series, Camp Lazlo (8 p.m.), sparked the usually strong kids 6-11 and kids 2-11 ratings and delivery figures with powerful triple- and double-digit gains across the board, according to Nielsen Media Research. The 24th original half-hour prime time series from Cartoon Network also presented a second episode at 8:30 p.m. that further increased delivery of kids 2-11. All told, more than 5 million (5,076,000) different people 2+ tuned in Friday night to watch one of four Camp Lazlo telecasts (encores at 10:30 and 11 p.m.), each play earning triple and double-digit increases with target kid demos.
Highlights of Camp Lazlo�s performance as well as the resulting gains for the FRIDAYS franchise vs. the same time periods last year include the following:
Camp Lazlo (Original Series Premiere, Friday, 8 p.m.)
- Including an 11:25 a.m. �sneak peek� on Friday, a total of 6,585,000 different persons 2+ watched one of five Camp Lazlo airings.
- Ranked #3 in kids 6-11 delivery and rating among all Cartoon Network Original Series premieres.
- Ranked #1 in its time period on all television among boys 6-11 and boys 2-11.
- Kids 6-11 delivery (995,000) grew by 136% and ratings (4.1) by 128%.
- Kids 2-11 delivery (1,372,000) improved by 83% and ratings (3.5) by 84%
Camp Lazlo (Second Episode, Friday, 8:30 p.m.)
- Ranked #1 in its time period on all television among boys 6-11 and boys 2-11.
- Kids 6-11 delivery (974,000) surged by 137% and ratings (4.0) by 135%.
- Kids 2-11 delivery (1,391,000) advanced by 90% and ratings (3.5) by 84%.
FRIDAYS (Friday, 7 p.m. � 12 a.m.)
- Kids 6-11 delivery (890,000) and ratings (3.7) both increased by 48%.
- Kids 2-11 delivery (1,289,000) jumped by 48% and ratings (3.3) by 50%.
