HALLMARK CHANNEL ORIGINAL HOLIDAY MOVIE MEET THE SANTAS BECOMES NETWORKS HIGHEST-EVER-RATED TELECAST

Movie Wins Time Period Among Key Demos, W25-54 and W18-49

Once again Hallmark Channel has produced a ratings winner. The premiere of Meet the Santas, starring Steve Gutenberg and Crystal Bernard, on Saturday, December 17, has become the networks highest-ever-rated telecast scoring an impressive 3.6 household rating, 2.5 million homes and 4.65 million unduplicated persons 2+. The airing won the time period in the key demographic groups of W25-54 and W18-49 with 2.7 and 1.7 ratings, respectively, and also ranked #1 in W25-54 delivery (1.1 million).

Meet the Santas was the highest-rated ad-supported cable movie for the week of 12/12-12/18/05 and the second highest-rated telecast of the day. The movie ranked #2 in HH, P2+ (2.0 rating/3.6 m) and A25-54 (2.0 rating/1.6 m) ratings and delivery, and in A18-49 (1.3 rating) ratings. It also ranked #3 in W18-49 (737,000) delivery and #4 in A18-49 (1.05 m) delivery.

The continuous success of Hallmark Channels Original Holiday movies proves that the network is a choice destination for viewers during this time of year. Meet the Santas is a sequel to Single Santa Seeks Mrs. Claus, which premiered December 11, 2004, and was the networks highest-ever-rated original movie until the December 3, 2005 premiere of Loves Long Journey, another Hallmark Channel Original Holiday movie.
