IN AN ATYPICAL WEEK, CBS PLACES SECOND IN VIEWERS

The Season Finale of "CSI: Miami" Attracts Over Two Million More Viewers Than the Finale of "Lost"

The "Academy of Country Music Awards" Delivers Its Largest Audience Since 2003 Opposite the Final Tuesday Edition of "American Idol"

In an atypical week that included the final three days of the 2005-2006 season as well as the Memorial Day weekend, CBS placed second in viewers highlighted by the season finale of CSI: MIAMI, which attracted more than two million more viewers than the season finale of "Lost," in the week ending May 28, week 36 of the current television year.

For the week in viewers, CBS (8.96m) trailed FOX (14.75m) and topped ABC (7.33m) and NBC (6.30m). For the season, CBS (12.61m) placed first, followed by ABC (10.80m), FOX (10.10m) and NBC (9.72m).

For the week in households, CBS (6.0/10) was -32% behind FOX (8.8/16), +25% ahead of ABC (4.8/08) and +40% ahead of NBC (4.3/08). For the 2005-06 television season, CBS was first in households (8.2/13), outpacing ABC by +19% (6.9/11), NBC by +28% (6.4/10) and FOX by +32% (6.2/10).

� The season finale of CSI: MIAMI won its time period in households (12.7/20), viewers (19.96m), adults 25-54 (8.3/19), adults 18-49 (6.8/16) and adults 18-34 (4.8/12). This is CSI MIAMI's best delivery in adults 18-49 and adults 25-54 since 1/30/06 and best adults 18-34 performance since 11/28/05. CSI: MIAMI beat NBC and ABC combined (both with first run programming) in households (vs. 11.1/18, +14%), viewers (vs. 16.56m, +21%), adults 25-54 (vs. 7.7/17, +8%) and adults 18-49 (vs. 6.6/16, +3%).

� The season finale of TWO AND A HALF MEN was first in households (9.8/15), viewers (15.51m), second in adults 25-54 (6.2/14) and adults 18-49 (5.1/12). This is TWO AND A HALF MEN's best delivery in households, viewers, adults 18-49 and adults 25-54 since 3/20/06.

� The season finale of THE NEW ADVENTURES OF OLD CHRISTINE was second in households (8.5/12), viewers (13.06m), adults 25-54 (5.4/11) and adults 18-49 (4.5/10). This is THE NEW ADVENTURES OF OLD CHRISTINE's best delivery in households, viewers, adults 18-49 and adults 25-54 also since 3/20/06.

� THE 41st ANNUAL ACADEMY OF COUNTRY MUSIC AWARDS (S) was second in households (7.6/12), viewers (12.02m), adults 25-54 (4.2/10), adults 18-49 (3.5/09) and adults 18-34 (2.3/07). This is the best delivery in viewers for THE ANNUAL ACADEMY OF COUNTRY MUSIC AWARDS since 2003 even as it aired opposite the final Tuesday edition of "American Idol."

� CSI: CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATION (R) was first in households (9.0/15), viewers (13.28m), second in adults 25-54 (4.6/12) and adults 18-49 (3.6/10).

� WITHOUT A TRACE (R) was first in households (8.4/15), viewers (11.83m), adults 25-54 (4.0/10) and adults 18-49 (3.0/09).

� NUMB3RS (R) was first in households (5.7/11), viewers (8.25m), adults 25-54 (3.0/09) and second in adults 18-49 (2.2/07, -0.1 behind ABC).
