CBS WINS MONDAY IN VIEWERS AND ADULTS 25-54

"How I Met Your Mother" Gains Viewers in its Second Week in the 8:00 PM Time Period

"Two and a Half Men" Is First in Viewers and Adults 25-54

"The New Adventures of Old Christine" Posts Week-to-Week Increases in Viewers and Adults 18-49

"CSI: Miami" Is the Number One Program of the Night in Viewers and Adults 25-54

CBS placed first in viewers for the fourth consecutive Monday, first in adults 25-54 for the fifth consecutive week this season and a strong second in adults 18-49 (-0.2 behind NBC), according to preliminary Nielsen live plus same day ratings for Oct. 16.

HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER was second in viewers (9.25m), adults 25-54 (4.1/10) and adults 18-49 (3.4/09) and tied for second in households (6.0/09, with ABC). Compared to its time period premiere last week, HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER was up +2% in households (from 5.9/09), even in adults 18-49 and added +160,000 viewers (from 9.09m, +2%).

THE CLASS at 8:30PM averaged 8.70 million viewers, 3.9/09 in adults 25-54 and 3.1/08 in adults 18-49.

TWO AND A HALF MEN was first in households (10.4/15), viewers (16.37m), adults 25-54 (6.7/14) and second in adults 18-49 (5.2/12).

THE NEW ADVENTURES OF OLD CHRISTINE was first in households (8.7/13) and viewers (13.27m), and second in adults 25-54 (5.4/12) and adults 18-49 (4.2/10). Compared to last week, THE NEW ADVENTURES OF OLD CHRISTINE was up +4% in households (from 8.4/13), +2% in adults 18-49 (from 4.1/10), even in adults 25-54 and added +390,000 viewers (from 12.88m, +3%).

At 10PM, CSI MIAMI was first in households (11.3/18), viewers (17.62m), adults 25-54 (6.9/16), adults 18-49 (5.6/14) and adults 18-34 (4.2/12).

For the night, CBS was first in households (8.9/14), viewers (13.81m) and adults 25-54 (5.6/13) and second in adults 18-49 (4.5/11, -0.2 behind NBC).

Final Monday ratings will be available this afternoon.
