Comedies Reach or Match Season Highs in Key Demos
Each Comedy Improves Week to Week
October 31, 2006 (Burbank, CA) - The CW's comedy block scored its most watched night of the season (3.2mil), as "Everybody Hates Chris" (3.6mil), "All of Us" (3.1mil), "Girlfriends" (3.1mil) and "The Game" (2.8mil) delivering their largest audiences of the year, according to preliminary live plus same day Nielsen ratings for Monday, Oct. 16.
"Everybody Hates Chris" also scored its season best in adults 18-49 (1.4/4) and women 18-49 (1.7/5). "Chris" improved week to week by 8% in adults 18-34 (1.3/4), 17% in adults 18-49, 13% in women 18-49 and 12% in viewers.
"All of Us" also matched its season highs in adults 18-49 (1.3/3) and women 18-49 (1.7/4) "All of Us" posted week to week increases of 8% in adults 18-34 (1.3/4), 8% in adults 18-49 (1.3/3), 13% in women 18-34 (1.8/5), 13% in women 18-49 (1.7/4) and 5% in viewers.
"Girlfriends" also matched its season highs in women 18-34 (2.3/6), adults 18-49 (1.5/4), women 18-49 (2.1/5). "Girlfriends" built over last week by 7% in adults 18-34 (1.5/4), 10% in women 18-34, 25% in adults 18-49, 17% in women 18-49 and 11% in viewers.
The CW's new comedy "The Game" scored its best women 18-49 (1.9/4) rating of the season and matched its season best in women 18-34 (2.0/5) and adults 18-49 (1.3/3). "The Game" was up over last week by 8% in adults 18-34 (1.4/4), 18% in adults 18-49, 19% in women 18-49 and 15% in viewers.
