On the night following CBS's coverage of "Super Bowl XLI," the Network soared to its highest rated Monday of the season in viewers and adults 18-49, paced by the time period winning premiere of RULES OF ENGAGEMENT, season high ratings for HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER and TWO AND A HALF MEN, the best ratings for THE CLASS since its season premiere and a dominating performance by CSI: MIAMI, according to preliminary Nielsen Live Plus same-day ratings for Feb. 5.

The series premiere of RULES OF ENGAGEMENT placed first in households (9.8/14) and viewers (14.89m) and second in adults 25-54 (6.3/13) and adults 18-49 (5.2/12). These are all CBS's best deliveries in the 9:30-10:00 PM time period this season in viewers.

From 9:30-10:00 PM, RULES OF ENGAGEMENT also topped "24" in adults 18-49 (5.2/12 vs. 5.0/11).

HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER was second in households (6.9/10), viewers (10.78m), adults 25-54 (4.7/11) while averaging an 3.9/10 in adults 18-49. These are season highs in households, viewers, adults 18-34 (3.2/09) and adults 18-49.

THE CLASS (6.2/09, 9.72m) averaged a 4.3/10 in adults 25-54, 3.6/09 in adults 18-49, the series' best deliveries since the season premiere on Sept. 18.

TWO AND A HALF MEN was first in households (11.3/16), viewers (17.77m), adults 25-54 (7.1/15) and second in adults 18-49 (5.8/13) -- all season highs.

At 10:00 PM, CSI: MIAMI was first in households (11.8/19), viewers (18.20m), adults 25-54 (7.2/17) and adults 18-49 (5.7/14).

For the night, CBS was first in households (9.6/15), viewers (14.93m), adults 25-54 (6.1/14) and adults 18-49 (5.0/12). CBS posted Monday season highs in households, viewers and adults 18-49 and matched season highs (September 18th) in adults 25-54.

In late night, both LATE SHOW with DAVID LETTERMAN and THE LATE LATE SHOW with CRAIG FERGUSON delivered some of their strongest ratings of the season in the 55 Nielsen metered markets.

LATE SHOW, with guest Dr. Phil and Fall Out Boy, delivered a 4.6/12, the second highest rated LATE SHOW so far of the 2006-07 season, trailing only Monday, 11/20/06 (5.2/13) with guests Jerry Seinfeld (night of the Michael Richards interview) and ESPN's Dan Patrick.

Meanwhile, on the night following its special live broadcast from Miami, THE LATE LATE SHOW with CRAIG FERGUSON, with guests Kid Rock, Hank Williams Jr./Lynyrd Skynyrd and the Phi Beta Sigma Step Team, delivered a 2.1/08, equaling its season high (Nov. 20, 2006).

Final Monday primetime ratings will be available this afternoon.

The series premiere of RULES OF ENGAGEMENT placed first in households (9.7/14) and viewers (14.84m) and second in adults 25-54 (6.3/13) and adults 18-49 (5.2/12). These are all CBS's best deliveries in the 9:30-10:00 PM time period this season in viewers, households adults 19-49 and adults 25-54.

From 9:30-10:00 PM, RULES OF ENGAGEMENT also topped "24" in adults 18-49 (5.2/12 vs. 5.1/11).

HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER was second in households (6.7/10), viewers (10.61m), adults 25-54 (4.6/11) while averaging a 3.9/10 in adults 18-49. These are season highs in viewers, adults 18-34 (3.2/09) and adults 18-49.

THE CLASS (6.1/09, 9.54m) averaged a 4.2/09 in adults 25-54, 3.5/08 in adults 18-49, the series' best deliveries in households and viewers since its premiere on Sept. 18 and best adults 25-54 and adults 18-49 deliveries since Oct. 9.

TWO AND A HALF MEN was first in households (11.2/16), viewers (17.68m), adults 25-54 (7.1/15) and second in adults 18-49 (5.8/13) -- all season highs.

At 10:00 PM, CSI: MIAMI was first in households (11.9/19), viewers (18.43m), adults 25-54 (7.3/17) and adults 18-49 (5.8/15). CSI: MIAMI is Monday's top program in households, viewers and adults 25-54.

For the night, CBS was first in households (9.6/14), viewers (14.92m), adults 25-54 (6.1/14) and adults 18-49 (5.0/12). CBS posted Monday season highs in households, viewers and adults 18-49 and matched season highs (September 18th) in adults 25-54.

In late night, both LATE SHOW with DAVID LETTERMAN and THE LATE LATE SHOW with CRAIG FERGUSON delivered some of their strongest ratings of the season in the 55 Nielsen metered markets.
