On a week where �Idol� continued to drive Fox and CBS was lifted by its Sunday �Grammy Awards� special, ABC earned second place to Fox among Adults 18-34 (3.4/10), Women 18-49 (5.0/12-tie), Women 18-34 (4.5/12) and Kids 2-11 (1.5/6). ABC outdelivered NBC during the week by 1.3 million
viewers (10.1 million vs. 8.8 million) and by 27% in Adults 18-49 (3.8/10 vs. 3.0/8).
� Up by 2.7 million viewers and by 41% in Adults 18-49 from the prior week, ABC attracted its largest weekly audience (10.1 million) and top Adult 18-49 number (3.8/10) in 11 weeks � since w/o 11/20/06.
Weekly Rankings: ABC aired 4 of the week�s Top 10 TV programs in Adults 18-49, more than any other network, including the No. 1 scripted series with �Grey�s Anatomy�: �Grey�s Anatomy� � No. 3, �Desperate Housewives� � No. 6, �Lost� � No. 8, �Extreme Makeover: Home Edition� � No. 10. �Grey�s Anatomy� stood as the No. 1 scripted TV program for the week in both Total Viewers and Adults 18-49. Additionally, �Grey�s� was the No. 2 TV show of the week in Adults 18-34 (tied w/�Idol� Wednesday) and the No. 1 program with Women 18-34, topping both editions of Fox�s �American Idol� in the latter measure. ABC aired TV�s No. 1 10 o�clock series during the week with the return of �Lost,� which also qualified as the highest-rated regular 10:00 p.m. series telecast since September (any network/any night), the second-highest of the season. ABC News claimed the No. 1 newsmagazine during the week among Adults 18-49 with �20/20� on Friday, which explored the much publicized life and untimely death of Anna Nicole Smith.
Monday
In the first Monday of the 2007 February Sweep, ABC saw its highest Monday ratings in Adults 18-49 (3.3/8 - tied) and Adults 18-34 (3.1/8) in 10 weeks � since 11/27/06 -- with non-sports programming. In addition, the Net finished second on the night among Women 18-34 (4.4/11) and took first among Kids 2-11 (1.7/7).
�Wife Swap� (8:00-9:00 p.m.)
�Wife Swap� scored season-best numbers in Adults 18-34 (3.3/9) and Women 18-34 (4.6/11), posting the unscripted series� highest delivery in the hour in nearly 1 year � since 3/27/06 and 2/27/06, respectively.
� �Wife Swap� led its hour in its core Women 18-34 demo (4.6/11), while taking second among Women 18-49 (4.6/11).
�Supernanny� (9:00-10:00 p.m.)
Opposite CBS� comedies (�Two and a Half Men�/series debut of �Rules of Engagement�), NBC�s �Heroes� and Fox�s �24,� ABC�s �Supernanny� built on its lead-in by 1.2 million viewers (9.6 million vs. 8.4 million) and by 9% among Adults 18-49 (3.8/9 vs. 3.5/9). �Supernanny� matched its second-best numbers of the season in viewers and young adults, while garnering season-highs among Adults 25-54 (4.0/8 � tied) and Kids 2-11 (2.4/9).
�In Style: Celebrity Weddings� (10:00-11:00 p.m.)
The special �In Style: Celebrity Weddings� placed second in the hour, beating NBC�s �Studio 60,� across each of the key women demos: Women 18-34 (3.7/9 vs. 2.8/7), Women 18-49 (3.9/9 vs. 3.4/8) and Women 25-54 (4.0/9 vs. 3.7/8).
Tuesday
ABC�s Tuesday night lineup, which included the premiere of ABC News� �Primetime: The Outsiders,� gave the Net its largest Total Viewer (7.6 million) and Adults 18-49 (2.3/6) numbers in 8 weeks � since 12/12/06.
�Primetime: The Outsiders� (9:00-10:00 p.m.)
The debut of ABC News� �Primetime: The Outsiders� attracted 7.4 million viewers and a 2.6 rating, 6 share among Adults 18-49, registering ABC�s best numbers in the hour in 11 weeks � since 11/21/06.
� �Primetime: The Outsiders� was up by 2.6 million viewers and by 53% among Adults 18-49 compared to ABC�s averages in the hour with regular programming since the end of �Dancing with the Stars� in November (4.8 million & 1.7/4).
�Boston Legal� (10:00-11:00 p.m.)
Capitalizing on its solid lead-in, ABC's �Boston Legal� posted week-to-week increases in Total Viewers (+4%; 9.9 million vs. 9.5 million) and across each of the key adult demographics: Adults 18-34 (+24%; 2.1/6 vs. 1.7/5), Adults 18-49 (+7%; 2.9/8 vs. 2.7/7) and Adults 25-54 (+6%; 3.7/9 vs. 3.5/9). In fact, the legal drama equaled its second-best Adults 18-34 performance in the hour this season and delivered its best Total Viewer and Adults 18-49 performance since December � since 12/5/06.
Wednesday
ABC�s took second place to �Idol�-driven Fox on Wednesday evening among Adults 18-49 (4.1/10) Adults 18-34 (3.9/10).
� ABC attracted its largest audience (9.8 million) and top Adult 18-49 rating (4.1/10) on Wednesday night in 3 months � since 11/15/06.
�The Knights of Prosperity� (8:30-9:00 p.m.)
ABC�s �The Knights of Prosperity� was up week to week in viewers and young adults, posting the series� second-highest numbers ever in Total Viewers (5.2 million) and Adults 18-49 (2.1/5).
�Lost Survivor Guide� (9:00-10:00 p.m.)
Against Fox�s �American Idol� and CBS� original �Criminal Minds,� ABC�s special �Lost Survivor Guide� drew an average audience of 8.8 million viewers and a 3.6 rating, 8 share among Adults 18-49. The clip show special took second place in the hour with Adults 18-34, pacing 10% ahead of CBS� �Criminal Minds� (3.4/8 vs. 3.1/8).
�Lost� (10:00-11:00 p.m.)
Premiering in its new, hour-later, 10 o�clock time period, ABC�s �Lost� jumped from its lead-in by 5.7 million viewers and by 78% in Adults 18-49. On its first telecast in 13 weeks, �Lost� drew an average audience of 14.5 million viewers and delivered a 6.4 rating, 15 share among Adults 18-49. The ABC drama dominated its new hour among young adults, besting second-place CBS� time period veteran by 42% in Adults 18-49 (6.4/15 vs. 4.5/11) and by an even wider margin of 94% in Adults 18-34 (6.4/16 vs. 3.3/8). ABC�s �Lost� stood as Wednesday�s No. 1 scripted program in Adults 18-49, ranking as the top scripted series of the evening on each of its original telecasts this season.
� �Lost� produced the second-highest Adult 18-49 rating for any regular 10 o�clock TV series telecast this season (any network/any night), behind only the season opener of NBC�s �ER� on 9/21/06. On its return, the ABC drama generated the season�s highest Adult 18-34 number for any 10:00 p.m. series, on any network, any night.
� �Lost� posted the series� second-highest Adult 18-34 delivery this season, behind only its third season premiere in on 10/4/06.
� In viewers and young adults, �Lost� marked ABC�s best performance in the time period since last May � since 5/24/06, with the �Lost� 2-hour second-season finale, which ran into the hour. On both counts, it was ABC�s second-strongest non-sports delivery in the time period since September 2005 (9/21/05).
Thursday
ABC won its fourth straight Thursday -- its second in the February Sweep -- among Adults 18-49 (6.5/16). In the key young adult sales demo, ABC�s Thursday lineup defeated second-place CBS by a margin of 16% (6.5/16 vs. 5.6/14). ABC also marked its fourth consecutive Thursday as the No. 1 TV network in Adults 18-34 (6.6/18) and Teens 12-17 (2.6/9).
� ABC attracted its third-largest Thursday audience (16.7 million) this season and second-highest Adult 18-49 number (6.5/16). Attracting nearly 1/4 of the available television audience on the night, ABC generated its highest-rated Thursday with Women 18-34 (9.8/24) in more than 12-1/2 years � since 5/12/94.
� ABC�s Thursday delivery was up by 2.2 million viewers and by 48% in Adults 18-49 from the same night last year (14.5 million and 4.4/11 on 2/9/06).
�Ugly Betty� (8:00-9:00 p.m.)
Opposite the season premiere of CBS� �Survivor: Fiji,� ABC�s freshman �Ugly Betty� delivered a solid second place in Total Viewers (14.3 million) and Adults 18-49 (4.7/12), and ranked No. 1 ahead of �Survivor� in Adults 18-34 (4.8/14) and Women 18-34 (7.2/19). For the second week in a row, �Betty� was surpassed by only ABC�s �Grey�s Anatomy� to rank as the No. 2 TV program on Thursday with Women 18-34.
� �Ugly Betty� posted the series� second-strongest-ever performance in Total Viewers and Adults 18-49 (tie), behind only its series debut in September. The program garnered series-high numbers with Adults 18-34, Women 18-34 and Men 18-34.
�Grey�s Anatomy� (9:00-10:01 p.m.)
Thursday�s No. 1 TV program in viewers and young adults, ABC's �Grey's Anatomy� overshadowed CBS� �C.S.I.� at 9:00 p.m. �Grey�s� outdelivered �C.S.I.� by 2.7 million viewers (25.2 million vs. 22.5 million) and by 58% in Adults 18-49 (10.9/25 vs. 6.9/16). In the past two Thursday�s, �Grey�s� has delivered its two biggest winning advantages ever over originals of �C.S.I.� in Adults 18-49 (58% this week and 51% last week). Furthermore, the ABC medical drama has defeated the CBS crime procedural in Adults 18-49 on all 13 of their original head-to-head match-ups in the time period this season.
� �Grey�s Anatomy� posted its second-highest numbers this season in Total Viewers and Adults 18-49. Trailing only its post-�Super Bowl� telecast last year, �Grey�s� tallied the series� second-highest-ever ratings with Adult 18-34 (11.2/28), Women 18-49 (15.5/33) and Women 18-34 (16.5/37). In fact, excluding the show�s post-�Super Bowl� episode, �Grey�s Anatomy� produced the highest Adult 18-34 rating for any drama telecast on TV since May 2005 (any network/any night) � since the first season finale of �Desperate Housewives� on 5/22/05.

ABC's �MEN IN TREES� ranked No. 1 during the 10 o�clock hour with Women 18-34 (5.5/14), while earning second among Adults 18-34 (3.5/10) and Women 18-49 (5.9/14).
� �MEN IN TREES� hit series-high ratings in Adults 18-49 (3.9/10), Adults 18-34 (3.5/10) and the corresponding women demographics: W18-49 (5.9/14) and W18-34 (5.9/14).
Friday
ABC�s Friday lineup that included an encore broadcast of �Grey�s Anatomy� and back-to-back installments of �20/20� logged 7.4 million viewers and a 2.6 rating, 8 share among Adults 18-49, delivering the Net�s second-highest young adult performance on the night this season. In addition, ABC won the evening Adults 18-34 (2.2/87) and Women 18-34 (3.0/9).
�Grey�s Anatomy� (8:00-9:01.m.)
Friday�s telecast of �Grey's Anatomy� attracted its largest audience (6.6 million) and highest Adults 18-49 (2.4/8) numbers on the night for a repeat airing. Opposite original programming, �Grey�s Anatomy� took the top spot in its hour among Women 18-34 (3.1/10), while placing second among Women 18-49 (3.4/10) and Women 25-54 (3.7/10).

A special telecast of ABC News� �20/20,� featuring the �caught on tape� phenomenon, took first in the 9 o�clock hour among Adults 18-34 (2.2/7).

At 10:00 p.m., a second edition of ABC News� �20/20,� reporting on the much publicized life and untimely death of Anna Nicole Smith, drew 8.8 million viewers and a 3.1 rating, 9 share among Adults 18-49, finishing second in the hour among young adults. The ABC newsmagazine led the hour among Adults 18-34 (2.3/8) and Women 18-49 (4.1/11).

Up against CBS� �Grammy Awards� coverage on the night, ABC took a strong second on Sunday in viewers and young adults. ABC outdelivered the third-place networks by 7.4 million viewers (14.3 million vs. 6.9 million - NBC) and by 80% in Adults 18-49 (5.4/13 vs. 3.0/7 - Fox).

Sunday�s No. 1 unscripted series program, ABC�s �Extreme Makeover: Home Edition� overshadowed its unscripted series competition in its regular 8:00-9:00 p.m. time period. �Home Edition� widened its winning advantage over NBC�s �Grease: You�re the One that I Want� in the hour to a best-yet 10.2 million viewers (16.9 million vs. 6.7 million) and 210% in Adults 18-49 (6.2/14 vs. 2.0/5). Topping the �Grammys,� �Home Edition� stood as Sunday night�s No. 1 TV program among Kids 2-11 (4.5/14)
� ABC�s �Home Edition� posted its best Viewer and Adult 18-49 results since its season premiere in September, its second-highest numbers of the season. The ABC unscripted series matched its top Adult 18-34 rating (5.1/13) since last March and garnered its highest Kids 2-11 rating (4.5/14) in more than 1 year � since 3/12/06 and 1/29/06, respectively.
�Desperate Housewives� (9:00-10:02 p.m.)
The No. 1 TV series on Sunday, ABC�s �Desperate Housewives� placed a strong second to the �Grammy Awards� at 9:00 p.m., leading third-place Fox (�Family Guy�/�American Dad�) by 10.8 million viewers (18.1 million vs. 7.3 million) and by 94% in Adults 18-49 (7.0/15 vs. 3.6/8). In the same hour, NBC�s �The Apprentice� fell to a franchise-low and a distant fourth in the time slot (6.4 million viewers & 2.4/5 in Adults 18-49).
� Marking its best performance in 5 weeks despite going against the �Grammy Awards,� �Desperate Housewives� was up from its most recent original telecast by 1.0 million viewers and by 4% in Adults 18-49 (17.1 million & 6.7/13 on 1/21/07). �Housewives� hit its highest ratings since November with Adults 18-34 (6.0/14) � since 11/26/06.
�Brothers & Sisters� (10:02-11:00 p.m.)
ABC�s �Brothers & Sisters� overshadowed its drama competition during the 10 o�clock hour, outperforming NBC�s �Crossing Jordan� by 2.9 million viewers (11.0 million vs. 8.1 million) and by 76% in Adults 18-49 (4.4/10 vs. 2.5/6).
