CBS Is Second For the Week in Viewers and Key Demographics

CBS placed second in viewers and key demographics as the Network's coverage of the NCAA Men's Basketball Championship placed first on three nights in key men demographics and two nights in viewers and key adult demographics while among scripted programming, COLD CASE emerged as Sunday's top program in viewers and key demos, according to Nielsen Live Plus same-day ratings for the week ending March 18, week 26 of the 2006-2007 television season.

For the week in viewers, CBS (10.74m) trailed FOX (11.35m) but was well ahead of NBC (8.27m) and ABC (7.86m). Season-to-date, CBS (12.87m) leads followed by FOX (10.15m), ABC (9.87m) and NBC (9.48m).

For the week in households, CBS (6.9/12) was -1% behind FOX (7.0/11) and +28% ahead of NBC (5.4/09) and +33% ahead of ABC (5.2/09). Season-to-date, CBS is first in households (8.1/13), outpacing ABC by +27% (6.4/10), FOX by +31% (6.2/10) and NBC by +33% (6.1/10).

For the week in key demographics, CBS was second in both adults 25-54 (4.0/11) and adults 18-49 (3.4/10). Season-to-date, CBS is first in adults 25-54 (4.9/12) and tied for first in adults 18-49 (3.9/10, with FOX).
