"Models" and "Dolls" Lift The CW to Second on Wednesday in Key Demos
April 19, 2007 (Burbank, California) - The CW's hit "America's Next Top Model" continues to dominate its time period in adults 18-34 (3.2/10), women 18-34 (5.0/15), women 18-49 (3.9/11), according to Live Plus Same Day Nielsen ratings for Wednesday, April 18. "Top Model" ranked second at 8pm in adults 18-49 (2.6/8-tie), just 0.1 shy of first place.
An encore of The CW's hit "Pussycat Dolls" once again topped the Big 3 in women 18-34 (2.8/7) and teens (1.6/5), and beat ABC and NBC in adults 18-34 (1.9/5).
Last night's "Pussycat Dolls" encore once again outperformed the Tuesday original by 12% in adults 18-34 and 8% in women 18-34.
The dazzling duo of "Top Model" and "Pussycat Dolls" lifted The CW to second place on Wednesday 8-10pm, ahead of the Big 3, in adults 18-34 (2.5/7), women 18-34 (3.9/10), women 18-49 (2.9/7-tie), behind Fox.
The CW's Wednesday continues to outpace both UPN and WB a year ago (4/19/06) in all key demos. Compared to The WB, The CW is up 108% in adults 18-34, 117% in women 18-34, 122% in adults 18-49 (2.0/5), 123% in women 18-49 and 95% in viewers (4.1mil). Versus UPN's year ago, The CW improved 32% in adults 18-34, 34% in women 18-34, 33% in adults 18-49, 26% in women 18-49 and 32% in viewers.
