SEASON 4 PREMIERE OF RESCUE ME GETS BIG RATINGS LIFT FROM DVR

Season Four Premiere Posts +18% Gain in Delivery of Adults 18-49 And +17% Lift in Total Viewers with Live+7 Nielsen DVR Data

With Final Nielsen "Live+7" Playback Data, 31% of Adults 18-49 and 26% of Total Viewers Watched the Fourth Season Premiere of Rescue Me on Time-Shift Basis

LOS ANGELES, July 3, 2007 � The fourth season premiere episode of the acclaimed drama Rescue Me received a significant ratings increase when Nielsen delivered the "Live+7" data yesterday, showing an +18% gain on Adults 18-49 and a +17% lift in total viewers compared to the initial "Live+Same Day" ratings data that were released the day following its June 13th debut.

Based on the final "Live+7" ratings for the first run of Rescue Me's fourth season premiere episode (Wednesday, June 13 at 10 PM), 31% of the 2.1 million Adults 18-49 and 26% of the 3.3 million total viewers watched the episode via DVR within seven days of its original airing, the largest percentage of time-shift viewing for any FX program.

The four-telecast cume ratings for the season four premiere episode in its first also showed large increases among Adults 18-49 and total viewers compared to Live+Same Day, gaining +16% in Adults 18-49 and +14% in total viewers. In its first week, Rescue Me delivered 3.7 million Adults 18-49 and 5.6 million total viewers for the four runs.

Nielsen provides final Live+7 ratings data approximately two to three weeks after a show's primary airing. With Live+7 data, the fourth season premiere episode was down only -4% on Adults 18-49 and -3% in total viewers versus season three premiere (2.2 million A18-49 and 3.4 million viewers).

Based on the initial Live+Same Day ratings data released by Nielsen on June 14th, the primary airing without DVR playback numbers included showed declines -18% in Adults 18-49 and -20% in total viewers compared to the series' third season premiere episode final Live+7 ratings, an apples to oranges comparison.
