'ARMY WIVES' TRUMPS BROADCAST NETS AMONG W18-34 AND W18-49 FOR SECOND STRAIGHT WEEK 'STATE OF MIND' BUILDS ON PREMIERE IN W18-34 AND W18-49 THREE NEW DRAMAS CUME 16 MILLION VIEWERS IN FIRST TWO WEEKS - Lifetime Up 17% YTD in W18-34 -

NEW YORK, July 24 -- For the second straight week, Lifetime Television's new powerhouse Sunday night drama lineup "Side Order of Life," "State of Mind" and smash hit "Army Wives" propelled the network to the top spot in primetime (8-11 p.m., ET/PT) on July 22 among households, W18-49, W25- 54, and W18+.

Driving the network's year-long increase in younger viewers -- Lifetime is up 17% YTD among W18-34 -- "State of Mind" followed in the bootprints of sibling "Army Wives" record-setting episode-to-episode growth by leaping 11% in W18-34 (1.0 rating) and 8% in W18-49 (1.4 rating) in its second outing at 9 p.m. (ET/PT), compared to its July 15 premiere.

"Side Order of Life" finished #1 among W18-49 (1.1) as well as #1 among W25-54 (1.4) in its 8 p.m. (ET/PT) time period.

For the second week in a row, "Army Wives" beat the three broadcast networks (ABC, CBS, NBC) in its 10 p.m. (ET/PT) time period among W18-34 and W18-49. The ratings juggernaut "Army Wives" was also the #1 ad-supported cable program for the entire week (July 16-22) among W18-34 and W18-49.

For the week ending July 22, the critically acclaimed "Side Order of Life," "State of Mind" and "Army Wives" were in the top 20 basic cable shows among W25-54 and W18+. The three dramas have delivered a cumulative audience of 16 million P2+ viewers (unduplicated audience 8 p.m. - 11 p.m.) in their first two weeks.

A quirky, thought-provoking and new comedic drama series centering on a young magazine photographer who suddenly re-evaluates her life and impending nuptials after receiving "a wake-up call from the universe," "Side Order of Life" stars Marisa Coughlan, Jason Priestley, Christopher Gartin and Diana Maria Riva. Academy Award(R)-winning producers Dan Jinks and Bruce Cohen ("American Beauty") of The Jinks/Cohen Company serve as executive producers. Directed by James Frawley ("Ally McBeal") and written by Margaret Nagle (HBO's "Warm Springs"), who created the series and serves as executive producer. The series is produced by The Jinks/Cohen Company in association with Warner Horizon Television for Lifetime Television.

Starring Lili Taylor as a brilliant, take-charge therapist whose personal problems rival those of her eclectic and offbeat patients, the "State of Mind" cast also includes Derek Riddell ("No Angels"), Mido Hamada ("The Path to 9/11"), Theresa Randle ("Bad Boys"), Devon Gummersall ("Relativity," "My So- Called Life") and Kevin Chamberlin ("Heroes," two-time Tony(R) Award nominee, Broadway's "Dirty Blond," "Seussical"). Greer Shephard and Michael Robin, executive producers of "The Closer" and "nip/tuck," executive produce the series, which was written by best-selling author and practicing psychotherapist Amy Bloom, who also created the series and is co-executive producer. Brown ("Starved"), Wendy Davis ("Commander in Chief"), Drew Fuller ("Charmed") and Catherine Bell ("JAG"). Mark Gordon ("Grey's Anatomy," "Criminal Minds") and The Mark Gordon Company's President of Production, Deborah Spera ("Criminal Minds"), serve as executive producers.
