THE WEDNESDAY TIME PERIOD PREMIERE OF "POWER OF 10" LEADS CBS TO FIRST PLACE IN VIEWERS

"Power of 10" Delivers CBS's Best Viewer Delivery And Highest Demo Ratings In The Time Period Since May

For the Second Consecutive Night, "Power of 10" Surges by Double Digit Percentages in Viewers and Key Demographics at 8:30 PM

The Wednesday time period premiere of the Drew Carey-hosted game show POWER OF 10 placed first in viewers, delivering CBS's best ratings in the time period since May, according to preliminary Nielsen Live Plus same-day ratings for Aug. 8.

From 8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT, POWER OF 10 (P) was first in households (5.2/10), viewers (7.83m), second in adults 25-54 (2.6/08), adults 18-34 (1.5/06) and tied for second in adults 18-49 (2.0/07, with NBC).

This is CBS's best delivery in this time period in households and viewers since 5/23/07 (NCIS WEDNESDAY SPECIAL), in adults 18-49 and adults 25-54 since 5/16/07 (THE PRICE IS RIGHT PRIMETIME SPECIAL) and in adults 18-34 since 5/30/07 (two episodes of THE KING OF QUEENS (R)).

For the second consecutive night, POWER OF 10 posted double digit percentage increases at 8:30 PM with gains of +17% in households (5.6/10 from 4.8/09), +22% in both adults 25-54 (2.8/09 from 2.3/08) and adults 18-49 (2.2/07 from 1.8/07), +14% in adults 18-34 (1.6/07 from 1.4/06) while adding +1.23m viewers (8.45m from 7.22m, +17%).

POWER OF 10 helped lift CBS to its best Wednesday primetime deliveries in viewers, adults 18-49 and adults 25-54 since late May. CRIMINAL MINDS (R) (6.1/11, 8.78m) averaged a 2.8/08 in adults 25-54 and 2.1/06 in adults 18-49. CSI: NY (R) was first in households (5.9/11), viewers (8.51m), adults 25-54 (3.0/08) and tied for first in adults 18-49 (2.4/07, with NBC).

For the night, CBS was first in households (5.8/10) and viewers (8.37m) and averaged a 2.8/08 in adults 25-54 and 2.2/07 in adults 18-49.

This is CBS's best delivery in this time period in households and viewers since 5/23/07 (NCIS WEDNESDAY SPECIAL), in adults 18-34, adults 18-49 and adults 25-54 since 5/16/07 (THE PRICE IS RIGHT PRIMETIME SPECIAL).

For the second consecutive night, POWER OF 10 posted double-digit percentage increases at 8:30 PM with gains of +14% in households (5.6/10 from 4.9/09), +21% in both adults 25-54 (2.9/09 from 2.4/08) and adults 18-49 (2.3/08 from 1.9/07), +13% in adults 18-34 (1.7/06 from 1.5/06) while adding +1.16m viewers (8.35m from 7.19m, +16%).

POWER OF 10 helped lift CBS to its best Wednesday primetime deliveries in viewers, adults 18-49 and adults 25-54 since late May. CRIMINAL MINDS (R) (6.2/11, 8.87m) averaged a 2.8/08 in adults 25-54 and 2.1/06 in adults 18-49. CSI: NY (R) was first in households (5.9/11), viewers (8.50m), adults 25-54 (3.0/08) and second in adults 18-49 (2.3/07, -0.1 behind NBC).

For the night, CBS was first in households (5.8/10) and viewers (8.38m) and averaged a 2.8/08 in adults 25-54 and 2.2/07 in adults 18-49.
