"60 MINUTES" MAKES THE TOP 10 FOR THE THIRD TIME THIS SEASON
60 MINUTES made Nielsen's top 10 for the third time this season, landing 10th for the week with 14.63 viewers. The top-ranked news magazine finished 9th among all programs in households with a 9.5 rating and 15 share, tying CBS' WITHOUT A TRACE.
It was Sunday's number-one primetime program in both households and viewers.
Sunday's broadcast featured Steve Kroft's 60 MINUTES-Washington Post join investigation of a flawed forensics tool used in court by the FBI for decades; Bob Simon's report on the youngest detainee at Guantanamo Bay to be charged with a crime; and Lesley Stahl's segment on the battle between health advocates and restaurant chains over the disclosure of calorie content.
