CBS Wins Four Consecutive Thursdays in Adults 18-49

TWO AND A HALF MEN and CRIMINAL MINDS hit season high ratings, NCIS won its time period for the ninth time this season, SURVIVOR: CHINA placed first for the 11th consecutive week, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for the week ending Dec. 2, week 10 of the 2007-2008 television season.

In a week that included the final three days of the November sweep, CBS claimed its first Monday win in adults 18-49 and adults 25-54 and ran its Thursday adult 18-49 winning streak to four.

For the week in viewers, CBS (10.55m) trailed ABC (12.45m) and topped FOX (8.32m) and NBC (8.20m). Season-to-date, CBS is first in viewers (12.17m), ahead of ABC (11.78m), FOX (9.13m) and NBC (8.82m).

For the week in key demographics, CBS was second in adults 25-54 (3.6/09) while averaging a 2.7/07 in adults 18-49. Season-to-date, CBS is second in adults 25-54 (4.5/11) and adults 18-49 (3.5/09).

For the week in households, CBS (6.8/11) trailed ABC (7.7/12) by -12% and topped NBC (5.3/08) by +28% and FOX (5.2/08) by +31%. Season-to-date, CBS is tied with ABC (7.7/12, each) and +38% ahead of both NBC and FOX (5.6/09, each).

CBS's Weekly Highlights:

-- On Monday, CBS was first in adults 25-54 (5.1/11), adults 18-49 (4.0/10), second in households (7.8/12) and viewers (12.21m). This is CBS's first first-place finish on a Monday night in both adults 25-54 and adults 18-49 this season.

? TWO AND A HALF MEN was first in households (9.4/14), viewers (15.26m), adults 25-54 (6.3/13) and second in adults 18-49 (5.0/11). This is TWO AND A HALF MEN's best delivery this season in households and viewers, matches the best delivery in both adults 25-54 and adults 18-49 this season.

-- Compared to the time period premiere of "Samantha Who?", TWO AND A HALF MEN posted a +19% advantage in households (vs. 7.9/11), +40% in adults 25-54 (vs. 4.5/09), +35% in adults 18-49 (vs. 3.7/08) and by +3.57m viewers (vs. 11.69m, +31%).

? NCIS was first in households (10.8/16), viewers (17.04m), second in adults 25-54 (4.7/11). This is the 9th consecutive time period win in households and viewers for NCIS.

? CRIMINAL MINDS was first in households (10.0/15), viewer (16.23m), adults 25-54 (5.5/13) and adults 18-49 (4.5/11). This is CRIMINAL MINDS third consecutive time period win in these measures. CRIMINAL MINDS posted season highs in both viewers and adults 18-49, the best delivery for the program since February 7, 2007 (the first Wednesday episode after the Super Bowl).

-- Thursday, CBS was first in households (7.8/12), viewers (11.90m), adults 25-54 (4.3/10) and adults 18-49 (3.5/09). CBS has won 9 of the 10 Thursdays this season in households, viewers and adults 25-54 and last five Thursdays in a row in these measures. CBS has placed first 6 of 10 Thursdays this season in adults 18-49 and won the last four Thursdays in a row.

? SURVIVOR: CHINA was first in households (8.3/13), viewers (13.57m), adults 25-54 (5.4/13) and adults 18-49 (4.5/12). SURVIVOR: CHINA has won its time period for 11 consecutive weeks in households, viewers, adults 25-54 and adults 18-49.
