"The Good Witch" Is Number One in Time Period, Even Outperforming Broadcast Networks ABC and CBS
Hallmark Channel's original movie premiere, "The Good Witch," starring Catherine Bell, became the channel's second-highest-rated original movie in its history with a 3.8 HH rating and nearly 3.2 million homes, on Saturday, January 19 (9-11 p.m., ET/PT). It was the highest-rated ad-supported cable telecast of the day, and also handily beat programming on ABC and CBS in the 9-11 p.m. time period. "The Good Witch" boosted the network to rank #4 in Prime Time for the week of January 14-20 with a 1.4 HH rating, attracting 1.5 million total viewers.
"The Good Witch" won its Saturday, 9-11 p.m. time period, ranking #1 for households and all key demo ratings:
