HALLMARK CHANNEL RANKS IN PRIME TIME AND TOTAL DAY TOP 10 FOR THE WEEK, MONTH AND FIRST QUARTER OF 2008
Network Experiences Highest First Quarter Ever
Hallmark Channel, the nation's leading family-friendly network, continues its strong ratings performance completing the week of March 24-30, the month of March and first quarter '08 in the top 10 for Prime Time and Total Day household ratings. First quarter '08 was also the network's highest-rated first quarter ever.
For the week ending March 30, Hallmark Channel ranked #7 in Prime Time (1.2 ) and #8 in Total Day (0.8) HH ratings, among all ad-supported cable networks.
For the month of March, Hallmark Channel ranked #8 in Prime Time (1.1) and #10 in Total Day (0.7) HH ratings, among all ad-supported cable networks. The channel also ranked #7 in P2+ Prime Time rating (0.6).
For the first quarter of '08, Hallmark Channel ranked #7 in Prime Time with a 1.2 HH ratings and 1.004 million homes. Hallmark Channel continued its ratings momentum established in the fourth quarter of '07 where the channel ranked #6 in Prime Time with a 1.3 HH rating and nearly 1.1 million homes.
Hallmark Channel's noteworthy success is attributed to the success of its premiere of popular, family-friendly original movies. In the first quarter, the network premiered "Charlie & Me," (1/5/08, 1.9 HH rating), "Jane Doe: The Eye of the Beholder" (1/12/08, 2.0 HH rating), "The Good Witch," (1/19/08, 3.8 HH rating), "Daniel's Daughter," (1/26/08, 2.7 HH rating), "Bridal Fever," (2/2/08, 2.2 HH rating), "Mystery Woman: Redemption," (3/1/08, 1.8 HH rating), and "Jane Doe: How to Fire Your Boss," (3/8/08, 1.6 HH rating).
