CBS notched its fifth consecutive Monday victory in adults 18-49 and adults 25-54 with TWO AND A HALF MEN being the night's top program in key demographics and HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER posting across-the-board increases over last week, according to preliminary Nielsen live plus same day ratings for April 21.
BIG BANG THEORY (4.7/08, 7.51m) was second in adults 25-54 (3.4/09) and adults 18-49 (2.9/08).
HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER (5.2/08, 8.52m), featuring Cobie Smulders in the latest Robin Sparkles video, was tied for first in adults 18-34 (2.8/08, with ABC), second in adults 25-54 (4.2/10) and adults 18-49 (3.7/09). HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER was up +6% in households (from 4.9/08), +8% in adults 25-54 (from 3.9/09), +9% in adults 18-49 (from 3.4/09), +4% in adults 18-34 (from 2.7/08) and added +440,000 viewers (from 8.08m, +5%) compared to last week.
TWO AND A HALF MEN was first in adults 18-49 (4.9/12), tied for first in adults 18-34 (3.1/08, with ABC), second in households (8.3/12), viewers (13.28m) and adults 25-54 (6.0/14, -0.2 behind ABC). TWO AND A HALF MEN was the night's Number One program in adults 25-54, adults 18-49 and adults 18-34 for the second consecutive Monday.
RULES OF ENGAGEMENT (6.7/10, 10.63m) was first in adults 25-54 (5.1/11), adults 18-49 (4.1/10), adults 18-34 (2.6/07). Compared to the program's premiere last week, RULES OF ENGAGEMENT was up +2% in households (from 6.6/10), +4% in adults 25-54 (from 4.9/11), even in both adults 18-49 and adults 18-34 and added +230,000 viewers (from 10.40m, +2%).
CSI MIAMI was first in households (9.3/15), viewers (14.42m), adults 25-54 (5.3/13), adults 18-49 (4.3/11) and adults 18-34 (2.9/08).
For the night, CBS was first in adults 25-54 (4.9/12), adults 18-49 (4.0/10), adults 18-34 (2.7/08) and second in both households (7.3/11) and viewers (11.46m).
