NEW YORK � April 29, 2008 � Continuing its impressive ratings climb, Bravo marked its highest rated April ever in primetime boasting a 57 percent year-over-year increase among the coveted adults 18-49, 69 percent increase among women 18-49 and a 34 percent increase in total viewers, making Bravo the fastest growing top 20 ad supported cable entertainment network among both adults and women 18-49, according to Nielsen Media Research. Additionally, year-to-date, Bravo continues to rank as the number one cable network among upscale (125K+), educated and engaged adults 18-49 in primetime and as the number 19 ad supported cable entertainment network overall. For the month of April, Bravo averaged 667,000 total viewers (vs. 498,000 in April 2007), 404,000 adults 18-49 (vs. 258,000) and 277,000 women 18-49 (vs. 164,000).
Bravo's slate of new and returning series was highlighted by the Emmy-nominated "Top Chef" � the number one food show in cable � which is enjoying its highest rated season to date through seven episodes. To date, the culinary cuisine racked up 26 percent increase among adults 18-49 (1,974,000 vs. 1,567,000) over the previous season through seven episodes and a 20 percent total viewer increase (2,783,000 vs. 2,322,000). "The Real Housewives" franchise moved to New York City and the inaugural season with the New York ladies became the network's highest rated first season docu-series in history, averaging 903,000 adults 18-49 and 1,220,000 total viewers. Additionally, "Work Out" season three kicked off in April and is on pace to be the highest season yet, marking double digit increases over season two averaging 575,000 adults 18-49 and 745,000 total viewers, and Bravo's latest creative competition entry, "Step It Up & Dance" continues to perform, averaging 522,000 adults 18-49 and 756,000 total viewers.
Bravo Digital also recorded the highest April on record with page views on BravoTV.com reaching 54.6 million, up 91 percent versus April 2007, monthly uniques reaching two million, an increase of 27 percent over April 2007, and video streams garnering 2.1 million, a growth of 28 percent over the April 2007 average.
