SCI FI'S EUREKA IS #1 CABLE PROGRAM ON TUESDAY WITH 3RD SEASON PREMIERE
NEW YORK � July 30, 2008 � Eureka, SCI FI Channel's hit original dramedy series about a secret U.S. town inhabited by geniuses, led the cable pack ranking #1 in the key Adults 25-54 demo with last night's season three premiere (July 29, 9-10pm). Scoring a 2.1 HH rating and an audience comprised of 1.426 million Adults 25-54, 1.301 million Adults 18-49 and 2.808 million total viewers, Eureka enjoyed its most-watched performance since the series first premiered on July 18, 2006.
Season three premiere ratings highlights include:
� Eureka was the #1 cable program for the day for Adults 25-54.
� Last night's premiere delivered Eureka's best performance for Adults 25-54 and 18-49 since the show's first season.
� Compared to the second season premiere of Eureka (July 10, 2007), this represents an increase of +11% in households, +1% in Adults 18-49, +4% in Adults 25-54 and +10% in total viewers.
� Eureka topped second place finisher, A&E's The Cleaner, in Adults 25-54 by more than 200,000 viewers.
